Robin Dale Kilgore Peppers SUPPORT OF PROBABLE CAUSE

DOB — 1984

Eric Beckham affirms under the penalty for perjury and states:

I am a Law Enforcement Officer employed with the Mishawaka Police

Department and make this affidavit based upon my personal knowledge, my review
of other police officer’s reports and conversations with other police officers.

On July 24, 2018 Mishawaka Police Department Officers became aware of

the existence of videos posted by Robin Peppers on the You Tube video sharing
website. I reviewed several of the videos. One of the videos was posted on July 21,

2018 and was entitled, “To the judges”.

In that video, Peppers makes statements regarding going to the courthouse

and shooting. Peppers states that he is coming for the police first and then he is

coming for the judges. Peppers goes on to say that he has a plan and states that he

will make the movie “Rampage” look like a Disney film.

Peppers continues by saying that he is going to start with someone called

“Big Country”. I personally know a police officer who has the nickname “Big

Country”. His name is Eric Dietrich and he is employed by the St. Joseph County

Police Department. Officer Dietrich is assigned to the warrants division of that

department and is involved in the apprehension of fugitives wanted on warrants.

CASE NUMBER: 71D03-1807-F6-000714 FILED: 7/26/2018

Peppers states that he is going to start with “Big Country" for kicking in the

front door of his house and putting a pistol in his little girl’s face. Peppers states

that Big Country will be the first one that he is going to kill in such a way that he

goes down in history. Peppers states that when they find him he will still be alive

and wishing he wasn’t. Peppers then addressed Big Country directly stating that

his “ass is getting hit”.

On June 6, 2018 Eric Dietrich was involved in the service of a warrant at

Peppers home. Peppers went with the officers peacefully.

A11 of the above events occurred in St. Joseph County, Indiana.

I affirm under the penalty for perjury that the foregoing representations are

true.

DETENTION CONSIDERATIONS

Criminal Rule 26 does not apply in this case.

Peppers was arrested on July 25, 20 18 on an outstanding warrant issued in

the St. Joseph Superior Court under cause number 71D05 1408 CM 3095.

The above described events indicate that Peppers is a danger to others or the

community.

Wherefore, the State requests that the Court detain Peppers until the Court

conducts a bail hearing in open court. At the hearing the State requests the Court

consider Peppers’ criminal history and that the present offense is a crime against

law enforcement involving the use of force and set bond in this case in an amount of

not less than $15,000.00. The State also requests the Court enter appropriate

Pretrial Supervision Orders including but not limited to a No Contact Order with

Eric Dietrich and a pretrial mental health evaluation.

I affirm under the penalty for perjury that the foregoing representations are

true
