The Place

KODAIKANAL is presently one of the few remaining unspoiled hill resorts in the country covering an area of 22 Sq.
Km. and at an altitude of 2,133 metres (7000 feet) above sea level. The indigenous vegetation comprises. Sholas or
compact evergreen forests and grasslands.

Climate:

The air is clean and the climate bracing at all times of the year. Never hot in Summer – never cold in Winter. Being 10
degrees north of the Equator, snow is unknown, but ground frost may occur between December and February.
Average temperature during the summer/winter/monsoon months is as under:

The Property

The Carlton is the only Five-star property in the “Princess of Hill Stations” - Kodaikanal, which is situated 7000 feet
above sea level on the hillcrest overlooking the Kodai lake, surrounded by Lush green lawns and nature at its very
best. The Carlton is a perfect blend of “Modern Luxuries” and “Old World Charm” reflecting the regal graciousness of
colonial charm.

The Carlton has 91 rooms which includes 86 deluxe rooms, 02 suites and 03 cottages.

Accommodation:
We note that you would require around 91 rooms, which have been tentatively reserved. Kindly let us know the
breakup of single, double or triple occupancy rooms required/to be allotted.
Rates
We are pleased to offer the following special discounted rates:-
Room on single occupancy Rs 7700/- per room
Room on double occupancy Rs 8960/- per room
Extra adult sharing a room Rs 3000/- per person
Extra child sharing a room Rs. 2200/- per person

Note: Any increase in government taxes in future will payable additionally by you.
