FARATEC® GRP Pipes and Joints
We provide various types of pipes using polyester, vinyl ester or epoxy resins for use in different applications. The pipes are produced
in diameters up to 4000mm, pressure ratings of up to 32 bars and stiffness classes of 2500, 5000 and 10,000 Pa. Pipes with diameters
above 300mm are manufactured using the state of the art automated and fully computerized continuous filament winding technology
according to relevant international standards.

We also offer anti-static and hybrid pipes for use in oil and gas and other settings.
Joints
We use two types of joints, flexible or fixed (cemented/glued) joints.
Our most commonly used flexible joint is REKA coupling. The REKA
coupling is primarily used in underground applications for water and Advantages of GRP Pipes
sewerage transport and is most suited for earthquake prone areas
and where soil erosion is an issue. These couplings are easy and fast
to install, on average taking less than 10 minutes to install.
Corrosion resistant
The fixed joints include bell & spigot, lamination joints, and glued
coupling (glued REKA). We also manufacture flanges to various

Standards
The pipes are manufactured according to international standards for Lower pumping requirement

AWWA C950, and M45; ASTM D3262, D3754, and D3517; ISO 25780,

FARATEC® Manholes
We custom manufacture manholes and valve pits to perform
at the same or higher levels than the pipes in the network.
The manholes meet strict FARATEC® requirements including
ASTM D3753, PREN 15383 and EN 1610 standards. FARATEC®
Manholes have adequate mechanical strengths to bear
external (hoop load) and internal loads (axial loads) and are
completely sealed, fully corrosion proof, have excellent
durability and can be safely serviced and maintained. The
manhole covers are also of GRP material.
