devotion of Lord Ram, who is the 7th incarnation of lord Vishnu. Lord Hanuman who is gifted with supreme
powers is very humble and devoted to his Lord. This is a very rare quality in someone who is so powerful.
Taking cue from lord Hanuman himself, it is best to remain humble, pure yet of strong mind to ensure
whatever we do is just and right.

Kanchan Varan viraaj Suvesa, Kaanan Kundal Kunchit Kesa”

Lord Hanuman fought whole of Lanka singled-handedly. He carried an entire mountain to cure Lord
Lakshman and fought side-by-side with Lord Ram to defeat Ravana. He is known for his bravery but he was
very wise as well. Every little conquest mattered to him and he gave everything his best. This was his true
attitude and this contributed to Lord Ram’s success. This teaches us to take pride every small task and
achievement. Give every aspect of work our best shot, stay inspired.

Sukshma Roop Dhari Siyanhi Dikhawa, Vikat Roop Dhari Lanka Jarawa,
Bheem Roop Dhari Asur Sanhaare, Raamchandra Ke Kaaj Sanwaare”

Gifted with many powers, Hanuman could change his avatar from being as small as a mole to being a huge
entity who swallowed the sun; he was never proud or arrogant about his powers. He surrendered himself
completely to Lord Ram. Lord Hanuman’s behavior teaches us to be polite and appreciates our elders even
though we may have achieved many milestones
Give no excuse, take no excuse
8 / 16

“Laaye Sanjivan Lakhan Jiyaaye Sree Raghuveer Harashi Ur Laaye “

Whenever Lord Hanuman was offered a task, he ensured he carried it out with complete faith. When Lord
Ram asked him to check on Sita devi , he risked his life but delivered Ram’s message to her in the Ashok
Vatika. Similarly, when Lakshmana was wounded, on Lord Ram’s behest he set out to search the Sanjeevani .
He never gave an excuse. Whatever it took him to achieve a task, he did so. He teaches us to fulfill our
commitments no matter what the time of day or night. If we have promised to do something, there is no
excuse for backing out.

Be dynamic
9 / 16

“Sankadik Bramhadi Munisa, Narad Sarad Sahit Ahisa,

Jam Kuber Digpaal Jahan Te, Kavi Kovid Kahi Sakey Kahante”

Lord Hanuman was multi-faceted. Having been blessed by various saints and Gods, he even conquered
immortality and therefore, could always achieve any feat with ease. Yet, he never stopped learning or trying.
This example teaches us that we must never stop learning as knowledge has no end. One never knows when
their new skill will come to use. Always be up for a challenge and face it headlong.

Being a friend in need

10 / 16

“Tum Upkaar Sugreevhin Kinha, Raam Milaaye Raajpad Dinha”

Lord Hanuman was a great and loyal friend. He was instrumental is helping Sugreev seek Lord Ram’s help to
win his kingdom back from Vali, his evil brother. This teaches to always be that friend who will help no matter
what! One mustn’t hesitate to offer assistance as we never know when we might need the same. Goodwill goes
a long way.

Be good mentor as well as a good listener

11 / 16
“Tumhro Mantra Vibhishan Maana, Lankeswar Bhaye Sab Jag Jana”

Lord Hanuman was a good mentor as he was a good listener. It was on his advice that Ravana’s younger
brother could become a successful king of Lanka. However, Lord Hanuman was also selfless. He did not want
anything for himself and wished the best for the others. To be a good mentor, one needs to be a good listener
as well.

Never give up
12 / 16

“Jug Sahastra Jojan Par Bhaanu, Lilyo Taahi Madhur Phal Jaanu,
Prabhu Mudrika Meli Mukh Maahi, Jaldhi Laanghi Gaye Achraj Naahi”

Lord Hanuman never shied away from challenges. He took risks too. He happened to swallow the sun thinking
it was a fruit and when he went to visit Ma Sita, he burnt Lanka to the ground. However, he always took
responsibilities for his actions and rectified when required. Like lord Hanuman, we need to realize that power
and responsibility go hand-in-hand. Whatever task at hand, we must attempt it even though it is tough.

Turn the impossible into possible

13 / 16

“Durgam Kaaj Jagat Ke Jete, Sugam Anugraha Tumhre Tete,

Raam Dooare Tum Rakhwaare, Hoat Na Aagya Binu Paisare
Sab Sukh Lahaye Tumhri Sarna, Tum Rakhshak Kaahu Ko Darna
Aapan Tej Samharo Aapaye, Teeno Lok Haank Te Kaapen,
Bhoot Pishaach Nikat Nahi Awe, Mahavir Jab Naam Sunawe,
Naasaye Rog Hare Sab Peera, Japat Nirantar Hanumat Veera

To Lord Hanuman nothing was impossible. He was the gatekeeper to heaven and turned around the
impossible as the possible. To seek the same for yourself, chanting the Hanuman Chalisa or even remembering
him in your prayers will do the trick and you won’t feel any fear.

Sab Par Raam Tapaswi Raja, Tin Ke Kaaj Sakal Tum Saaja
Aur Manorath Jo Koi Laawe, Soi Amit Jivan Phal Paawe
Chaaro Jug Partaap Tumhara, Hai Parsiddh Jagat Ujiyara,
Saadhu Sant Ke Tum Rakhwaare, Asur Nikandan Raam Dulaare,
Asth Siddhi Nau Nidhi Ke Daata, Us bar Deen Jaanki Maata”

Lord Hanuman is the eternal savior, always on your side if we remember him with pure conscience and
intentions. He is not arrogant to not lend his support and protection even to the smallest devotee. He will
always help. This teaches us to always do good for the poor and downtrodden. We must do whatever we can
to help others.

Aur Devta Chitt Na Dharayi, Hanumat Sei Sarba Sukh Karai
Sankat Kate Mite Sab Peera, Jo Sumiraye Hanumat Balbira,
Jai Jai Jai Hanuman Gosaai, Kripa Karahun Gurudev Ki Naai”

Through his true loyalty and dedicated, he found a permanent place in the heart of Lord Ram. He has a
compassionate heart and helps to ease sorrows of life. If one is powerful and influential but cannot help
others, there is no use of the power. But being humble when powerful and helping others will earn you
