Fall 2018
Ms. Roe

Enduring Understanding for Quarter 1: The way we view history depends on our identity. The way that one
person views a historical event is often very different from the way another person views the same event. It all
depends on our perspective.

Assessment: Students will be assessed through MC and short answer quizzes, Essays, Major assessments such as
IAs and performance in the Student Showcase

Grading: Grades will consist of daily assignments/participation as evidenced by Interactive Notebooks and exit
tickets, 4 quizzes, IA1 (midterm), IA2 (final), participation and preparedness for Student Showcase (10/11: required
attendance after school), and homework assignments

Homework Policy: Homework is assigned nearly every day. It is due the following day unless otherwise stated in
this schedule. If a student is absent, they will have one additional day to complete their homework. It is imperative
that your scholar be in attendance every day in order to get the best educational experience.
