You will be writing a letter to one of the following of your choosing:

 The Governor (Gov. Larry Hogan) or The Mayor (Mayor Catherine Pugh)- “What can
the State or City do?”
 The Baltimore City Public Schools district (Dr. Sonja Santelises -CEO of BCPSS) “What
can the School District do?”
 The Parent and Community Advisory Board (PCAB) – “What can the families do?”
 The Chief of Schools, BCPSS (Mr. John L. Davis, Jr.) – What can the Schools do?”

Below you will find the components that each letter must include.

Introduction-

 Introduce yourself (Ex. My name is Ms. Holly and I am a 9th grade Algebra 1 teacher at
