Responsible for designing a lower elementary program for children kindergarten through third
grade. Created a curriculum for the school based on the Montessori method and making CORE
standardized leaning materials. Lesson plans consisted of individualized work plans for each
child which they received every week. Implemented a daily schedule that involved math, lan-
guage, history, science and specials.

- Implemented lesson plans on a daily basis. Used the Everyday Math to teach math
and used explorations to help guide the students. During guided reading I worked
with small groups and worked on comprehension and phonics while monitoring
the literacy centers. In science, the students learned the different species of animals
and used pictures of the animals to make posters.
