This article is about the research of teachers of color entering diverse school settings
and the different challenges one might go through. A couple teachers are questioned about
how they prepare for teachers of color. Teachers of color typically work as a teacher to be a
representative for their individual community. This reason being so that they can show their
communities they can succeed as well. Another reason why teachers of color pursue teaching is
to challenge the sociocultural barriers that are set on teachers. These teachers seek to work
with and teach the diverse students to make them feel more comfortable.

The purpose of this article is to look at the cost of caring for people with communication
disorders and the employment opportunities of such with communication disorders. After
several studies and observations, people with severe communication disorders are less likely to
find employment. This causes them to be economically disadvantaged and most likely live in
the lower class. Without the help of speech pathologists in early childhood, people are unable
to get the help for unintelligible speech making it unlikely to have a successful future. In the
United States, most of the jobs are communication-based which is why having understandable
speech is so important because without that the likelihood of finding a job is slim.
