that was taken out of his hands as soon as the scandalous sexual allegations against him
were announced in a press conference. But Jamal Parris, his third accuser, ramped up the

 sex scandal game somewhat when he stopped to talk to Atlanta reporters outside a
Colorado grocery store. Jamal Parris told Fox 5 Atlanta that Bishop Eddie Long
"manipulated" him and others from childhood and he was no man, but a "monster."1

Jamal Parris, 23, was described as reluctant to speak at first but soon opened up to the
Atlanta reporter. His words reflect a quiet
hostility toward the man he claims in his lawsuit

In 1985 divorce documents, Dabara Long, now Dabara Houston, claimed she was scared of
Long and left the home with her son "in order to ensure their safety."

The ex-wife of the Atlanta mega-church pastor accused of sex abuse by four young men once
claimed the exalted church leader had a "vicious and violent temper" and beat her while she
was pregnant with his son. 2

In court documents filed during the couple's 1985 divorce, Dabara Houston, then Dabara
Long, said she was terrified of Bishop Eddie Long and that she fled their home with their son "in
order to ensure their safety."
Among the allegations were that Long, then an assistant minister, beat his wife using his
fists with she was 7 1/2 months pregnant and that she was subjected to "cruel treatment"
Long's attorney, Craig Gillen, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Houston could not be reached, but her brother said in an interview with ABCNews.com
that he wasn't privy to his sister's abuse allegations and that she "stays pretty much to herself"
these days.
"That's been a long time ago," Lonnie Houston said, adding that he last saw Long about 20
years ago. "He was a fine fellow." 3

In North America, for example, approximately 15% to 25% of women and 5% to 15% of men
were sexually abused when they were children.[11][12][13] Most sexual abuse offenders are
acquainted with their victims; approximately 30% are relatives of the child, most often
brothers, fathers, uncles or cousins; around 60% are other acquaintances such as 'friends' of
the family, babysitters, or neighbors; strangers are the offenders in approximately 10% of child
sexual abuse cases.[11] Most child sexual abuse is committed by men; studies show that women
commit 14% to 40% of offenses reported against boys and 6% of offenses reported against
girls.[11][12][14] Most offenders who sexually abuse prepubescent children are pedophiles,[15][16]
although some offenders do not meet the clinical diagnosis standards for pedophilia.[17]

Under the law, "child sexual abuse" is an umbrella term describing criminal and civil offenses in
which an adult engages in sexual activity with a minor or exploits a minor for the purpose of
sexual gratification.[4][18] The American Psychiatric Association states that "children cannot
consent to sexual activity with adults", and condemns any such action by an adult: "An adult
who engages in sexual activity with a child is performing a criminal and immoral act which
never can be considered normal or socially acceptable behavior."[19]

REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE

I was at a conference in Washington D. C. in the eighties and a woman approached me

and said, “Are you Pat Holliiday” “Yes,” I replied. She told me that a group of women had been
witnessing to a waiter that was a homosexual. He said the sinner’s prayer and had asked Jesus
to be his Savior. “He’s agreed to coming to my room tomorrow for deliverance. Would you
come and help me to deliver him?”
“Sure.”
At exactly three o’clock, he knocked on her door. He sat down and (I’ll call Sarah) started
counseling him. I sat quietly on the couch. Suddenly, Jack got up and walked over to the table.
He took a knife off the table and turned rushing at me with the knife fully intending to kill me.
“I bind you in Jesus’ name and command that you cannot hurt us. He stopped in his
tracts.

“I forbid you to kill him in Jesus’ name.” Jack was standing with the knife at his throat.

Suddenly an angel appeared and took the knife from the young man’s hand and threw it

Sarah started ministering some scriptures to him.
He opened for deliverance and rolled back into head, convulsed and thrashed around but
soon got free from filthy demons that had him bound and received the Baptism of the Holy
Spirit.
He told his story of being a minister of music in many churches. Every time, he was able to
lure the pastor’s son into a sexual tryst. Finally, he decided to leave the church and move into a
gay community. He started weeping concerning the young men that he had perverted.
A footnote, I heard from Sarah. Jack had come to work for her television station, had
married and was doing very well.

sued. Three young male members of his congregation allege that the Eddie Long, the
"homophobic" pastor, coerced them into having sex with him when they were teenagers. The
Bishop Eddie Long investigation shows the pastor as an out-spoken opponent of gay and lesbian
relationships, and his sermons and books support his position on homosexual relationships, and
same-sex marriage.6

 The Bishop Eddie Long investigation has not touched on Vanessa Long, the "First Lady" of New
Birth. The media and headlines are missing a very important element of the investigation by not
making mention of the organic side and resulting fall-out this could be causing to the pastor's
marriage. Long and the "First Lady" share three sons and one daughter together.

Experts all agree that the visceral reactions the sex scandal has caused, has a negative impact
on marital affairs. In the tradition of the Black mega-church, a scripture is shared: Psalm 105:15
says, "touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm". Will members loyal to Bishop Eddie
Long use this as a mantra or cover-up to the alleged behavior by the embattled pastor?7

Christian People must follow the Word of God and Jesus or they qualify as being guilty of
his sin... True Christians should leave a church like this that would cheer a so-called pastor
pervert whose sexual behavior is considered unacceptable abnormal lust of this physical
attacking, offensive child assaulting buffoon. Women and men that applauded this deviant’s
molestation of these children, would you be standing and cheering if he had assaulted your
children? You all need to repent and seek Jesus with fear and trembling diverging sharply from
a customary, traditional, or generally accepted standard, or displaying such divergent
behavior.8
