1A/- BILL NO. 01 - PRELIMINARIES
Mode of Payment :
The Contractor shall be paid sum for
reimbursement of actual cost on submission of
the relevant documents acceptable to the
Engineer plus 5% of the actual cost of Note
obtaining the Insurance Policies and Securities
for items. 1A/1, 1A/2 and 1A/3.

The Contractor shall be paid sum quoted on


satisfactory completion for items 1A/5 and Note
1A/14.

The Contractor shall be paid 60% of the sum


quoted on satisfactory completion of
temporary buildings or structures, 30% in
equal installments over the contract period and
balance 10% on dismantling and removal on Note
completion for items 1A/4, 1A/7, 1A/8, 1A/9,
and 1A/23.

Mode of payment to be mutually agreed


between Contractor and the Employer at the
commencement of the Contract in relation to
Note
the programme of work for items 1A/11.

The Contractor shall be paid in equal


installments over the items 1A/6, 1A/10,
1A/12, 1A/13, 1A/15, 1A/16, 1A/18, 1A/19, Note
1A/20, and 1A/21.

The Contractor shall be paid on signing of the

Waterproofing Work
Method and material should comply with the
following standards ASTM-1622, ASTM C-
518, ASTM C-272 AND ASTM D-696.
Contractor shall satisfy the consultant that the
waterproof coating is not of a toxic nature,
giving no element to Anaerobic and aerobic
bacteria. If the latter should occur, the
contractor shall provide and apply extra
coat(s) of non toxic sealant to walls and floors
of treatment plant, all in accordance with the
manufactures instructions.
