voice recognition technology that allows students to translate their speech to text. This is extremely
important to allow students, who would otherwise have difficulty, partake in the writing process. By
being able to dictate into the app and having the app create text, students are able to fulfill the writing
requirements that are part of the Ontario curriculum and meets NYS Common Core Learning
Standards.

memorization of basic math problems. Kids Math is a good app for children to use because it
relates to Ontario curriculum as well as NYS Common Core Standards.

by a 6-year-old boy and his father, who is a meteorologist. The app consists of various activities
that allows kids to change the weather conditions to determine how they should dress. It also
allows kids to calculate Fahrenheit and Celsius. There is a charting feature that allows a child to
choose the day of the week and describe the weather and refer to it later. This is all part of both
the Ontario curriculum and the NYS Common Core Learning Standards.
