Benefits

Realistic fire simulation

By confronting the trainees with real flames, strong heat, high humidity, severely restricted visibility due to thick
smoke, and stress, the Dräger training system simulates emergencies through realistic practical experiences.

Different building areas can be operated independently of each other.

The selection of typical fire locations includes:

‒ Kitchen
‒ Multi-prop (various props available)
‒ Double bed
‒ Wall fire
‒ Rollover

Customer-specific solutions

Dräger Interior Live Fire Training Systems are designed in accordance with customer-specific requirements.

These systems are the result of extensive experience and innovation in this field. Dräger has developed
many industry-first innovations in gas fueled, computer controlled, live fire simulation systems. Among these
innovations are wireless handheld remote controls to allow the instructor to control the fire characteristics
around the trainees activities.

All props and advanced fire control systems are Dräger designed and installed.

The training system can also be retrofitted into an existing building.

Control technology

The system is operated via a control panel with push button or touch screen control. Controls for the system
are available from either the main panel or the associated wireless control pendant.

The programmable logic controller (PLC) based control system is designed in accordance with relevant codes.

Safe training conditions

A distributed control system allows for independent operation of the fire props in a training structure even if key
components fail in another part of the system.

The system is designed in accordance with relevant NFPA and CSA standards and guidelines.
