Course Description
In many cases, students enter middle school with the same mathematics difficulties that inhibit their success in algebra. Due to this,
the lessons are aligned to 8th grade mathematics standards and prerequisite skills. This course is available for students who have
reported low standardized test performance in prior grades and/or have demonstrated significant difficulties in previous mathematics
classes. The tasks in this course review key algebraic and geometric concepts through computer programming projects.
