Day to Day Schedule: 

a. Pre-Departure 
i. For this trip we will all be departing from College Park from my apartment 
on Friday evening. My car and Naeem’s car will both be parked near my 
apartment so we can leave at the same time. I think it would be best to hit 
the road between 6:30 - 7:30 to get the most daylight out of our drive so 
please try to arrive in the College Park between 6 and 7 or earlier. 
Someone will be here even if you get here earlier than 6. Please have 
eaten dinner before your arrival or when you arrive if you want to bring 
food to warm up at my apartment. My apartment is​ 2305B South Campus 
Commons 2​, the commons right next to the commons shop. 
ii. Please bring all our stuff up to my apartment because our cars won’t be 
parked right next to my apartment.  
b. Friday Night, May 20th 
i. Driving from College Park to P ​ ocomoke River State Park 
1. 2 hours and 45 min, 139 miles 
2. Shad Landing Campground 
ii. Camping at the State Park 
c. Saturday, May 21st 
i. Driving from ​Pocomoke River State Park​ to Assateague Island State Park 
1. 35 min, 27.6 miles 
2. Parking at the state park 
ii. Breakfast in the morning at the campground 
iii. Morning spent at Assateague Island State Park until we get hungry for 
lunch 
iv. Drive from Assateague Island State Park to Ocean City

v. Eat lunch in Ocean City and explore for 2 - 3 hours total (including lunch) 
vi. Drive from Ocean City to Rehoboth Beach area in Delaware

vii. Eat dinner, possibly go to the beach and explore Rehoboth Beach area 
until sundown. (plus amusement park!)

i. Andrew’s Car 
1. Andrew’s Driving from K ​ illens Pond State Park​ to Brunch in Dover 
2. Drive from Dover to Philadelphia Phillies Ballpark (Citizens Bank 
Park) 
a. 1 hour and 34 min, 89.3 miles (from the state park to 
Philly) 
b. Park near the stadium 
3. Andrew and a couple people go to the Phillies baseball game at 
1:35pm 
a. Everybody else, time to explore Philly! 
b. Take the subway from the ballpark to downtown to explore 
the main attractions of the city 
c. Game ends at about 3:30/4 and people who went to the 
ballpark meetup in downtown to see more sites with the 
others already there. 
d. Eat dinner between 5 - 7. 
e. Take subway back to car near the stadium. 
4. Drive from Philadelphia back to Maryland (and everybody’s 
respective houses) 
a. 2 hours, 100 miles (roughly to suburban Maryland area) 
b. Drop everyone off

1. Drive to a beach on the Delaware Coast, (I would suggest Bower’s 
Beach)
