INTRODUCTION
Research Questions (if research questions are not specifically mentioned, what is
the theoretical background or overarching theme):
There was a survey that consist of more than 300 principals expressing their ideas about
importance of technology at schools. And here are the most common answers; (a)
communication, (b) instruction, (c) data sharing and management, (d) a resource, (e)
administrative tasks, and (f) student learning.

Purpose of the research:

The purpose of the research in this article was to make sure how much principals are
regarding technology as necessary tools in their schools environment. As we have been
going more and more toward a fully equipped schools with the most advance
technological tools principals should also be flexible on using those and making
technology more available for future generation.

METHODOLOGY
What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:

Participants: 311 principals with different years of experience

Procedures: Basic questioner survey

Data Collection Methods/Data Source: Survey (questioner) method

Data Analysis: The questions were collected and analyzed based on the
principals with more than 12 years of experience and less than 12 years of
experience.
 RESULTS

Findings or Results (or main points of the article):

According to the article “ both gender and years of experience influence
how principals perceive the functions of technology in their schools. This could affect
the technology leadership of principals, which may influence the success
of technology implementation in schools.”

Conclusions/Implications (for your profession):

As the world goes older more technology and computer based equipment are introduced
to to the people as well. Schools are the place where the future generation are brought
up and it’s very necessary that these future generation are well informed and well trained
with these equipment so that they can help this world in a better ways with effective
solutions. Technology at schools are now something inevitable but there are schools that
try to be very traditional and keep these tools not very accessible to the kids but in the
near future no school will remain without computer and technology.

Student’s Reflections (changes to your understanding; implications for your

school/work):

I think from a student point of view the more technology we have the fun and the more
interesting the school is going to be. However, there is one point that should be kept in
mind in school is that they should make sure students are using these technology
properly and in the right way. Technological tools are like any other tools they could be
used properly or they could be used to hurt other people or the students themselves as
well. So overall the admins team in a school should come up with ways and ideas to
keep the technology intact and have the students use them for the best of themselves
and the school.
