Ganesha after which he was relieved. Thus durva appeases Lord Ganesha. It is
said that the devotee who worships Ganesha with durva will always receive his
blessings.

 Ganpati Modak: Modak is Ganpati Bappa’s, favourite sweet. No pooja is


completed without modak. Where there is Ganpati idol there should be modak.

 Ganpati Flower: Flowers have great importance in any puja. It is believed that if
you worship the God by offering his/her favourite flowers then all your wishes come
true. Red hibiscus flower or Jaswand flower is Ganesha’s favourite
