Abstrak

Kajian penyelidikan ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti keberkesanan kaedah ‘TuTi’ (Tukar Ganti)
dalam meningkatkan penguasaan penggunaan imbuhan awalan meN- pada kata dasar yang bermula
dengan huruf p,t,k,dan s dalam kalangan murid tahun dua. Kumpulan sasaran terdiri daripada 10 orang
murid tahun dua di mana terdapat enam orang murid lelaki dan empat orang murid perempuan. Data telah
dikumpul melalui soal selidik, Ujian Pra sebelum intervensi dan Ujian Pos selepas intervensi. Keputusan
kajian ini telah menunjukkan bahawa kaedah ‘TuTi’ ini sangat berkesan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan
penggunaan imbuhan awalan meN- pada kata dasar yang bermula dengan huruf p,t,k dan s dalam
kalangan murid tahun dua. Keputusan Ujian Pra iaitu sebelum intervensi telah menunjukkan peratus
kelulusan antara 10% hingga 50%. Manakala keputusan Ujian Pos iaitu selepas intervensi dijalankan telah
menunjukkan peratus kelulusan antara 40% hingga 90% iaitu peningkatan antara 20% hingga 80%
berbanding Ujian Pra. Hasil daripada soal selidik yang dijalankan terhadap kumpulan sasaran juga telah
menunjukkan bahawa semua murid setuju bahawa mereka berasa seronok dan menumpukan sepenuh
perhatian semasa belajar apabila guru melaksanakan kaedah ‘TuTi’.
 Abstract

This survey has been carried out to identify the effectiveness of ‘TuTi’ method (Replace) in
increasing the mastering in using the prefix meN- for root word that started with the letters of
p,t,k,and s among the year two pupils. The respondents involved 10 pupils of year two whereby
six were boys and four girls. The data based on questionnaire, pre test before intervention and
post test after intervention. Result showed that the ‘TuTi’ method was efficient in improving the
skill of mastering in using the prefix meN- from the root word that started with the letters of p,t,k
and s among the year two pupils. The pre test showed that before intervention the result showed
the achievement of 10% t0 50%. The post test showed the achievement of 40% to 90% after the
intervention. It has increased from 20% to 80% compared to the pre test. The result overcome
proved that the respondents were excited and able to concentrate during the process of learning
when the teacher implemented the ‘TuTi’ method.
