Diagnotes Recognized in Gartner’s 2018 Market Guide for Clinical

Communication and Collaboration

Diagnotes, a leader in streamlining clinical workflows and reducing delays for patients and
providers, was recognized as a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s July 2018 Market Guide for
Clinical Communication and Collaboration (CC&C).

Indianapolis, IN, August 08, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Diagnotes, Inc., based in Indianapolis, IN, was
recognized as a Representative Vendor in Gartner's July 2018 Market Guide for Clinical Communication
and Collaboration (CC&C). The guide is used by senior healthcare executives and clinical leadership to
understand market trends and identify potential vendors.

Healthcare provider CIOs developing the IT strategy for next-generation care delivery should “improve
care coordination and transitions of care by equipping care teams with CC&C tools that interoperate with
other core components of the care team collaboration ecosystem. Those components include the contact
center, interactive patient care, alarms and notifications, and nurse call systems,” according to Barry
Runyon, an analyst for Gartner and the author of the market guide.

The Diagnotes clinical communication platform uses a FHIR-enabled API to automate orders placed in an
EHR, dramatically reducing delays associated with the most common time-sensitive workflows,
including STEMI and stroke assessments, consult requests and discharges. In addition to streamlining
workflows, Diagnotes allows physicians, nurses and nonclinical staff to communicate and coordinate care
with each other as well as with patients and caregivers, on a single platform.

According to the report, “by 2023, the patient-centric secure messaging capabilities of clinical
communication and collaboration (CC&C) systems will have largely replaced stand-alone secure texting
among care team members.” Additionally, “work that is manual, repetitive, automatable and tactical -
scales linearly and has little enduring value. Whenever possible, healthcare provider CIOs should
introduce technologies and systems that can reduce toil. CC&C is one of those systems.”

“The Diagnotes clinical communication and collaboration platform was designed to address a key
concern which is to reduce repetitive tasks that have little enduring value,” said Dave Wortman,
co-founder and chief executive officer of Diagnotes. “Our greatest strength is providing user-friendly,
interoperable communication tools that reduce delays, streamline workflows, and improve the
experiences for those who are providing care as well as those receiving it.”
