ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

It is a great pleasure to present this report, a written testimony of real fruitful & invaluable training. I
take this opportunity to express my feeling of gratitude to ARYA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
& IT and the management of M/S. LARSEN & TOUBRO LIMITED for providing me the
opportunity to take Inplant training in the ESP-MCCB department.

The training period has enriched me with invaluable experience of the industrial culture of the highest
repute. This training period provided me with the best opportunity to put my engineering knowledge
to practical use. On completion of training, I have personally experienced the linkage between
theoretical knowledge and its practical implication.

The knowledge and experience gained will always be highly cherished by me and have a lifelong
influence on my career. I am deeply grateful to Mr. Jayul Vyas and Mr.Prashant Patel who were a
great influence on me during the entire tenure of this training.

.I also place on record my sincere thanks to each and every employee of L&T who has given me full
co-operation during my training period.

In the curriculum of Electrical Engineering, Inplant Training is incorporated to give industrial

exposure to budding Engineers. The indispensable function of training is to give them an opportunity
to correlate their studies with practical implication in the industry. My training in M/s Larsen &
Toubro was indeed a very nice learning experience and also gave me good exposure to the industry.

This report holds the summary of my learning of various aspects of MCCB production, along with the
written record of the work I did here. Technical aspects of the product MCCB along with the projects
done by me have also been included. During monitoring of the production process I learnt about how
to tackle different problems occurring in the process by simple modifications.

During this period I understood the scope of function, job responsibilities of various engineering
department. I also came to know that how the different departments function in tandem for improving
the process of particular product.

I came in contact with some techniques, which were completely unknown to me, and the most
important thing to learn was co-operation and co-ordinate effort of various persons at different levels
in different departments to achieve the set goals.
