IAE/CLIMATEFORCE: ARCTIC 2019 Expedition Highlights
THE ARCTIC
The Arctic is truly the perfect setting for this expedition. It is an unforgettable destination and those
who venture to this frozen ocean return home with a fresh perspective on their place in the world. It’s
massive ice sheets are home to polar bears, Svalbard reindeer, and puffins. It is one of the most beautiful,
untouched, and pristine locations on the planet, which is exactly why we must do everything we can to
preserve it. And, as the modern world evolves, so too does the dire need to protect one of Mother
nature’s last untouched jewels. The key to this mission is it to promote the use of renewable energy
across the globe. If we can do this effectively then it won’t make financial sense for the world to exploit
those areas of our planet that are being most harmed environmentally.
