• Donna Shalala has seen her negative go up +10 since June.

• Undecided vote – while shrinking – still remains high at 28% despite


having Shalala known to 80%.

Bottom Line

The combination of David Richardson’s surging momentum, high undecided, and


Shalala’s inability to convert undecided and 80% name ID into vote support
means this race is likely headed to a photo finish. Matt Haggman’s advertising
has increased his name ID but not enough to get him out of single digits. The
remainder of the field continues to stay frozen.
