An Introduction ...

This is the first issue of Computer News, which replaces the


Computer Systems Newsletter.
The objective of Computer News is to provide you, the Com-
puter Groups' Sales Representatives, with a single source of
timely and concise :
policy update information you need to do your jobs and
information necessary to help you sell HP's products.
In doing this, Computer News has a number of goals:
To supply you and your managers with a single source of
marketing information from each of the Computer
Groups' Divisions to keep you current on hardware,
software, applications, competitive developments, price
changes, new policies/procedures, sales aids and mar-
keting organization changes.
To provide you a clearinghouse for sharing information
