EDE2 - Financial planning helps avoid excessive spending. Discuss.

Good financial planning habits can make sure you have enough money to enjoy the future! By planning for

finances, you are able to avoid over-spending, unmanaged debt, bankruptcy or dependency on others. You can also

strengthen your personal relationships with people around you, such as family, friends and colleagues because you

are happy with your life and do not need to borrow money to meet your needs or expect your contributions to

others.

Additionally, you will also be free of financial worries as you have planned for the future, anticipating spending

and achieving personal goals of life and being able to become more effective in gaining, using and protecting your

financial resources throughout the life, not for yourself even for those who dear.

In other words, when you have a managed personal financial plan, you are more knowledgeable about the

future needs and the resources available. You also get calm because it can control everything. Great? But what

exactly is financial planning? If by definition the book, it is a process in which an individual plans his future in fulfilling

personal and financial goals through the development and implementation of comprehensive financial planning.

Practically, financial planning is everything that deals with managing the economic or financial position of an

individual by considering the things that would be done like getting married, buying assets like cars or homes,

planning to get children and planning our children's education. Through financial planning, we can identify ways to

budget, save and spend money within a certain period of time. Additionally, it is a guide to helping you achieve

something in the future.

But in general, Malaysians have not been given enough exposure on this matter. We must admit that in formal

education in Malaysia, the subject of personal finance has not been fully implemented. The result is that many

Malaysians who have worked have financial problems mainly related to spending and debt whereas half of the

richest people in the world are financial planners. Names like Warren Buffet (owner of AIG Group) are the second

richest person in the world and the Waltons family (essentially the owner of Wal-Mart) where 4 of his family

members are among the 10 richest in the world, generally a financier that can be used as an example.

Financial planning is a well-designed and well-planned planning process that uses your financial resources to

achieve long-term and long-term goals. Through this financial planning you can see where your financial position is

today, its future direction, how to achieve it and when it should start.
It is important for every individual to make financial planning as soon as possible especially for those who start

entering the workplace. If it's been a long time, but still has not made any plans, it's still not too late. No matter

where you are, it is still not too late to make any changes to a better life. Planning spending wisely can save us from

experiencing a financial crisis. Without a neat plan many things we can not do well.

For example, if you want to retire early with the price of daily necessities increases. If we do not save money

now, where does the money come tomorrow? Then there are those who think it will die early after retirement.

Nobody is able to predict death and not? If you are still not ready to prepare for people who will survive after we are

gone, how will they continue to live if tomorrow does not have any savings? Imagine, if the kids left are still small? If

the situation is desperate, will they make loans from unauthorized individuals? Often we think that when it comes,

they are good at life.

EDE3 - Improving quality and quantity of freshwater for future generations. Discuss.

According to the Dictionary of the Fourth Edition of the Council (2010), conservation intends the description

(process, effort, deed, etc.) to conserve (something). Among the efforts that can be taken by the government in

conserving water are gazetting resource reserves as well as regulating nature-based development activities such as

logging, agriculture, mining, industrial and other activities in order not to pollute river and sea water. The relevant

parties should devise physical planning guidelines to ensure sustainable development.

In addition, local authorities should impose fines or summons to factories that distribute toxic waste directly into

the river. If they are still in default, they should be instructed to seize the property of the company, thereby disabling

their plant operations.

Regulatory, monitoring, and careful monitoring should also be done in unison by government agencies. For

example, the Ministry of Environment should make a sudden check on residents near the river. It is recommended

that the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) in places where the residents of the waste disposal area should

be involved. The Department of Environment (DOE) can implement the Water Quality Monitoring Program. Water

samples can be taken from the stations to be analyzed to produce the Water Quality Index (WQI). The DOE

conducted a study on selected river basins to identify all causes of pollution, calculating the load generated by the

sources and tracking the impact on the river. Therefore, action plans involving structural measures such as the

construction of wetlands, sediment trap studies, garbage traps and point polution measures and non-structural

measures such as public awareness raising and stakeholders, streamlining environmental policies, strengthening

institutional and legal frameworks, intensifying enforcement activities and enhancing monitoring activities.

Locals through neighboring communities need to have gotong royong activities to clear rivers. For example,

residents can collect plastic, bottles and wood in the river. In fact, along the river can be built pedestrian paths and

parks decorated by flower arrangements. So, indirectly, the river becomes more attractive and can be a recreational

area for the population. In this way, people appreciate the existence of a river in their lives.

Schools can also play a role in efforts to combat river pollution through awareness education. Teachers can

incorporate the importance of preserving river cleanliness through appropriate subjects such as Malay, English,

Geography and Science. The reality is, Civics and Citizenship Education subjects have been able to instill feelings of

love for the river in children. It is true that the wise word is old, 'bend the bamboo from its bamboo shoots'. If these
children can be cultivated with such a sense, then the problem of river pollution can be contained in the future as

they are the generation that will continue the legacy of life and use it.

Conservation and preservation of the environment need to be implemented as the environment plays an

important role in human life. Water is also one of the most important sources of environment in our lives. Any

pollution that has occurred to the environment whether the pollution of water, air, noise and so on will directly or

indirectly affect the environment as well as the human itself.

Water preservation and conservation is very important for human beings to have clean and unspoiled water

sources. Water pollution such as removing waste and toxic waste into rivers and so on will have a devastating impact

on human life. Water sources will become dirty and poisonous and should not be used. Indirectly, people who use

contaminated water will get a disease that harms us.

Additionally, animals such as aquatic life will also die if living in contaminated water. The contaminated river will

spread the epidemic and infect aquatic life such as fish, snails, shellfish, prawns and so on. This will indirectly pollute

our environment. River ecosystems will also die. The dead river will produce rotten odors, dirty scenery, dangerous to

health and cause any species of plants and animals to survive. . The upgrading of sewerage system is one of the steps

in water conservation in Malaysia. Some places in Malaysia do not have a sewerage system. Therefore, sewer

residues enter or sink into our drainage. The untreated sewer system will spread the 'pathogenic' organism or cause

disease and pollute our rivers.

In conclusion, conservation and preservation of water is essential to human realization so that the safety of

humans and other living beings will be more secure in the future. Therefore, we need to maintain the cleanliness of

the river so that our water resources are safe for use.
