• The cam shaft sensor is used to recognize the position
"lQnd-OT lylinder 1" (Ignition TOC cylinder 1).
• To do so, it checks the 6+1 pins on the drive gear of the high
pressure pump.
• The high pressure pump is driven by the camshaft.

the RPM and the crank angle

for the correct actuation
