Felicidario Sangguniang Barangay Ireasurer Absent None BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 04 Series of 2014 “AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL BARANGAY SEAL AND COLOR OF BARANGAY BUENAFORTUNA, NABAS, AKLAN.” BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Buenafortuna, Nabas, Aklan that: WHEREAS, the entire seal is to convey the meaning intended to avoid tarnishing or misapprehending the intended image; WHEREAS, the image is use to identify Barangay Buenafortuna, Nabas, Aklan, as a subject of public interest; WHEREAS, to illustrate the objects: the sun and the three stars symbolize our national identity as Filipinos; the coconut and bamboo trees symbolize that Barangay Buenafortuna is located in the hilly and predominantly upland area in the Municipality of Nabas and it is setf- evident that the barangay is abundant with copra and bamboo, rice field symbolizes farming and bariw tree symbolizes mat weaving and hat making as main source of living; WHEREAS, the color is important recognition but it should not be an integral component to the seal designs because of some color misprinting by its reproduction; NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Jeorge M. Tenorio and was duly seconded by Hon. Tessie P. Manocan BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Buenafortuna, Nabas, Akian that: Section 1. OBJECTIVES.
