All students are required to complete at least 39 semester hours (45 semester hours for Coles College of Business BBA degrees) of upper-division
(courses numbered 3000 or higher) work overall toward the undergraduate degree. 21 semester hours of upper-division major requirements must be
earned in residence at KSU. A minimum of 60 semester hours must be earned in residence at KSU to be eligible for honor status. All course work in
the major, including Lower-Division Major Requirements, and the minor require a grade of 'C' or higher. All first-year full-time students entering KSU
with fewer than 15 semester hours are required to take a first-year seminar course or enroll in a Learning Community.
