TRANCEINDUCTIONS

SNOWBALL INDUCTION:
Say “Watch this. I got a trance in my hand”
Make an imaginary snowball and throw it.
When your hand comes close to your partner’s head, touch their forehead
and say “Sleeeepp”
Push their head down to their knees, while saying “All the way down”

Snowball induction
1. Make an imaginary snowball and "throw" it at the client's forehead.
2. Place your hand over their eyes and tell them to sleep.

NON-ENGLISH SPEAKER INDUCTION:


Tell your partner, “Keep your eyes open, look here (point to your eyes).
Spin yourself into a deep trance and look deep into your partner’s eyes.
When they blink cataleptically make approving noises such as, “That’s
right. Close your eyes now. There you go.”

Non-English Speaker induction


1. Put yourself in a deep trance state and look steadily into the client's eyes.

EAR-TO-EAR INDUCTION
Tell your partner, “Sleep. That’s right. There you go all the way down.”
While saying this cover their eyes with your hand and push their head
down as you say down.

Say, “Just relax and I want you to feel good in this ear. (touch one ear)
That’s right, take a good feeling in this ear” (touch other ear)

Say “and then start darting in to this ear. Good feeling in this way (touch
one ear then the other, back and forth with squeaking noises) good feeling
that way(touch the other ear), good feeling this way, good feeling this way,
then let it rush through your whole body and start to spin it.”

Ear-to-Ear induction
2. Have client put good feeling in "this" ear, then "that" ear
3. Tell them to dart the feeling back and forth very quickly and at the same time briefly
touch the ear mentioned.

HANDSHAKE INTERRUPT:
Hold out right hand to shake hands and stop before the hands meet.

Use two fingers of your left hand to hold your partner’s right wrist gently

and raise it, palm facing them, up to their eye level.

And point the two fingers of your right hand to your partner’s right – hand
palm and say, “Look at your hand and notice the changing focus of your
eyes as you take a deep breath simply close your eyes and relax and feel
good.” Use a relaxing, soothing tone of voice.
And then you can slowly let your hand go away and their hand will remain
cataleptic. Knowing what catalepsy feels like and how to continue to speak
in a rhythm and a tone which is metered.

Handshake interrupt
1. Put hand out to shake.
2. Use left hand to catch client's outstretched hand and bring it up to their eye level
3. using the index and middle finger of your right hand, point to their palm, while telling
them to notice the changing focus of their eyes.

THROUGH THE LOOKING-FINGERS:


Tell your partner to put their hands together palm to palm pointing
straight up at the ceiling. Then to leave the forefinger and the middle
finger pointing up and to fold the ring and the baby fingers of each hand
over each other.

Then have them look at the top two fingers, to spread them apart and to
look between the two. Tell them that when they look through the middle
their fingers will be pulled together with an irresistible force. And the more
they look the more the fingers will get pulled and the closer they get the
deeper they are going to begin to go into a trance. And when their fingers
touch tell them to close their eyes and they will drop into a deep trance
and really relax.

Through the Looking-Fingers


1. Have client put clasp their hands, point their forefingers up, pull them apart slightly and
look through that space.
2. Tell them that as they look, their fingers will be drawn to each other by an irresistible
force and that the more they look the deeper they will go into a trance.
3. So that when the fingers meet they will drop

OPEN – EYED INDUCTION:


Pick a point where the light reflects, Focus your eyes on it and do the
following.

Hold your hands, palms facing the ceiling, put your feet on the floor, take a
deep breath and very slowly lift your hands together, palms up, all the
way up. Then very slowly bring them down and let them bounce.

Turn one palm up and point with one finger of the other hand. Keep
looking at that point of light and bring your hands, all the way up together

and give them a little bounce, and reverse it, so the finger on the other
hand is pointing straight out and the other palm is facing upwards. Bring
them all the way up together. And then bring them straight down, palm
up, very slowly. Do this three or four times. Keep your eyes open and you
will feel yourselves drifting down deeper and deeper into an altered state.
This is based on reversing the feelings inside cerebral competition.

Now take the feeling and begin to spin it inside your body. Look straight
ahead and focus on feeling good and relaxing.

If that feeling is more to one side, the right or the left, the front or the back
of your body, centre it up so that it spins at the mid-line. Breathe in
through the mouth, out through the nose slowly.
The more you let yourself relax the easier it will be for you to let other
people relax. You will be able to just look at somebody without saying a
word and they will go into a trance. Look at the other person and spin the
feeling through them so that the feelings inside you are real for the other
person too.

Open - Eyed Induction


1. Focus your eyes on a point where the light reflects throughout this exercise.
2. Hold your hands, palms facing the ceiling, feet on the floor, take a deep breath and very
slowly lift your hands together, palms up. At the top let them bounce.
3. Bring your hands down very slowly and let them bounce.
4. Turn one palm up and point with one finger of the other hand and bring your hands,
all the way up together and give them a little bounce,
5. Reverse it, so the finger on the other hand is pointing straight out and the other palm
is facing upwards. bring them straight down very slowly
6. Do this three or four times.

PIVOT GRAMMAR (TWO WORD UTTERANCES)


Sit down by yourself and say two words forwards and then reverse them
and do this as quickly as you can. the text below as quickly as you can. It is
important to listen to what you say. Start by practising with the following
text.

“I want you to go, deeper down”, “down deeper”, (downward tonality),


“really relaxing”, “relaxing really”, “you as”, “as you”, “begin to”, “to
begin”, “breathing in”, “in breathing”, “out relaxing”, “relaxing out”,
“really hear”, “hear really”, “yourself now”, “now yourself”, “sleeping
in”, “in sleeping”, “deeper down”, “down deeper”, “now”.”

“Looking now, now looking, deeper down, down deeper, into what, what
into, you do not know, know you not, what you do, do what you, can, see
and in a moment, that’s right, your eyes grow heavy, you begin to relax,
feel comfortable and know that what you’re doing.”

“…as I tell people this inside my mind, constantly I’m listening, tuning
my voice, so that as I go deeper down, down deeper, into what, what into,
you relaxing, relaxing you, trance down, down trance, because as, as
because, you will, will you, learn to, to learn, how to, to how, really listen
to, listen to listen to listen to listen to listen to the sound of your own voice
as it comes out of your mouth, then you’ll know what you’re saying, you’ll
know how to adjust the tone of your voice, so that when you are telling
people how to relax and go into comfort and deeper states and use the
rhythm so that you can slow down so that the tempo and the tone of your
voice can create altered states so that we can use those to give people
post-hypnotic suggestions to do other things before they feel bad…”

Pivot Grammar (two word utterances)


1. Say two words forwards (eg. Deeper down)
2. Reverse them (eg.down deeper)
3. Do this with as many words as you can think of as quickly as you can.
ROTATING CONSCIOUSNESS

It comes from an old Vedic meditation. Keep your eyes open and put your
consciousness in the middle of you forehead (third eye). And then to take
your consciousness and move it around the edge of your face, slowly from
the middle of your forehead to the left side of your face down the side to
your chin and back up the right side of your face to your forehead.

You do not need to move your eyes, just your mind. And as you move it
around like this something magical happens. While you are speaking to
people can make your mind travel around your face, counter clockwise,
counter clockwise. Then you reverse it and go clockwise, clockwise, then
counter clockwise, saying the same things all the time and it doesn’t
matter whether you count or what you do. People begin to go into deep
and blissful altered states.

Look at that person and before you begin the official trance induction, just
look at them and say, “Before we begin going into a deep trance ….”
Meanwhile begin to feel that movement in your face as you speak to them,
and at the moment they blink in what is called a cataleptic eye movement
reinforce it by saying, “That’s right” It means their consciousness at the
unconscious level is beginning to respond to what you are doing.

Rotating Consciousness
1. Eyes open put your consciousness in the middle of you forehead (third eye).
2. Move your consciousness around the edge of your face clockwise
3. Move your consciousness around the edge of your face counter clockwise
4. Saying the same things all the time , (eg. Counting ), while doing steps 2 & 3.

DEEPENING TRANCES

FRACTIONATION

Pick any of the trance inductions or a combination of them.

Put your partner in a trance, and count them down. As you count them
down, when you get to about five, go “our, five, six, seven, six, five, four,
three, two” and count way past zero to minus 1, minus 2.

Give them a posthypnotic suggestion that when you reach over and touch
them on the left knee they will drop all the way down.

Then bring them out and touch them on the knee and when they are all the
way down tell them to double it and double it and double it.
And tell them you will bring them out again and they are going to feel an
adrenalised wonderful state, they are going to be filled with endomorphi-
nes, they are going to have a sense of vigour a sense of excitement and
then go NOOOOwww. And do it.

Fractionation
1. While client is in trance, set an anchor that will bring them out of trance and one that
will put them into trance.
2. Test the anchors
3. Fire them off a few times.

SPINNING THE FEELINGS

EXERCISE 1: MAKING GOOD FEELINGS BETTER

Do a handshake interrupt induction.

Once your partner is in a trance, have them go back and remember one of
their wonderful memories, see what they saw, hear what they heard, take
the feeling and begin to spin it .

Once they start to spin it, if you watch them you will notice they will stop.
It is a tendency of human beings. Say, “I didn’t tell you to stop. Spin it
again.”

And then tell them to start to double it and double it again. Go, “double,
double, double, double” You can anchor by touching one of your partner’s

fingers on the cataleptic arm each time you say “double”. And when you
do they should look blissed out. And if they do not, go back to the
beginning. Once you have that good feeling anchored you’ve got
something you can work with.

Make the following or a similar post-hypnotic suggestion. “I’m going to


count to three and when I do you’re going to wake up but you’re going to
have a mysterious sense of well-being. You’re going to somehow or other
feel more connected to yourself. You’re going to feel stronger and you’re
going to have a sense of confidence that as you go through all of this stuff
this time it is going to be easier to learn and every thing is going to go
more smoothly because you want to live”

Exercise 1: Making Good Feelings Better


1. Put client in a trance
2. Have them access an associated image of a wonderful memory
3. When you see they've got the feeling, tell them to spin it
4. Tell the client to double it and double it again
5. Make a post-hypnotic suggestion that they will have a wonderful feeling of well-being
when they come out of trance.

EXERCISE 2: DISSEMBLING BAD FEELINGS

Put your feet on the floor. Do not cross your hands or your feet. Concen-
trate on the size of your body, your back and balance your head. Take a
deep breath in through your mouth and zero yourself. Go inside and check
your body. Close your eyes. Take a breath in through your mouth, hold it
for a second and then slowly out through your nose and check everything.
Check your body and find out which part of your body feels the best. If you
can reorganise yourself so you begin to feel what feels the best, it begins
to answer a different question.

Think of a bad feeling that you have repeatedly, one that you know you
will have again, stress, depression, fear, all the standard ones. You can
predict what will cause it, when it will happen, what triggers it in the
future. In other words you have already planned it in your future.

Go back, see what you saw, hear what you heard at a time when you know
that you felt bad and you know you are going to do it again. And notice
where the feeling starts in your body. Double the size of the image so the
feeling gets stronger. Turn up the brightness. And notice where it moves.
It starts somewhere, it moves somewhere.

Think of a time you had a good feeling. Think about a time you had
something really wonderful happen. Close your eyes, go back and see
what you saw at the time, hear what you heard. Where does the good
feeling start? Does it start in the same place? Double the size of the image,

turn up the brightness, turn up the sound and as the feeling gets stronger,
where does it move through your body?

Things either spin in a vertical circle and come up from about stomach
level to chin level then go outwards down and back to stomach level or
they spin the other way, i.e. starting from stomach level going down, then
outwards and up to chin level and back to stomach level or they spin in a
horizontal circle going left and outwards and back to the beginning
(counter clockwise) or they spin in the other direction (clockwise).

Spin the good feeling faster, even faster, it will feel better, stronger.

Now, go back to the bad feeling. Find out which way the bad feeling is
spinning?
In your imagination, take the bad feeling, pull it out of you for a second, lift
it upside down, pull it in and spin it in the opposite direction.

Exercise 2: Dissembling Bad Feelings


1. Have the client think of a bad feeling they have repeatedly and they know you will have
again.
2. Tell them to see an associated image connected to this bad feeling and to vary sub-
modalities until the feeling is strong enough for them to find out where it starts and
where it moves to. Feelings spin clockwise or counter clockwise in horizontal circles or in
vertical circles.
3. Follow the same procedure with a good feeling and spin it faster and faster to make it
stronger.
4. Go back to the bad feeling and find out which way the bad feeling is spinning
5. Take the bad feeling, pull it out, lift , flip it upside down, so that everything spins in the
opposite direction, and then pull it back in.
6. Test by thinking of the bad-feeling image you had before. Once feelings are spun
backwards, they don't have the same effect anymore.

DETERMINING FAST & SLOW FEELINGS

1. Have your partner determine where they have three immediate feelings. Have them
remember the event and make the picture bigger and brighter and determine where the
feeling starts.
Eg. If the door bell rings and you open up and your friend goes, "Now there’s nothing to
be scared about."
2. Have your partner think of something they should do and hesitate to do (that they want
to do) (Slow feelings), things they have trouble feeling quickly.
3. Notice where they look, or ask them to point to where these pictures are. Determine
where the feeling starts and compare it to the feelings that rush up quickly.

Once you know the difference between fast and slow feelings. You can go
into trance really deep and really fast and take people down deep into an
altered state. Once they’re in an altered state you can shoot in all sorts of
other wonderful feelings, joy, bliss … This allows you to make changes
quickly.

SPINNING FEAR INTO CURIOSITY:


1. Take the fear and determine which way it’s spinning.
2. Spin the fear around and as you step backwards and the fear forwards, just flip it
upside down so it spins in the opposite direction.
3. Keep it spinning and as it spins round and round it’s not going to feel the same way
because it’s not doing the same thing. It flattens out the neurological pathways, your
brain can sort out the right ones.
4. When you take fear and spin it in the other direction it doesn’t turn into courage, it
turns into curiosity because courage means you still have fear.

DEEPLY ALTERED STATES FAST


1. Feet on the floor, take a deep breath. Take a time in your past, where you were very
confident, absolutely certain about something, any time you had a feeling of
overwhelming certainty.
2. Double the size of the memory and pull the certainty in you all at once, to the place
where feelings are immediate. Keep your eyes open & take the feeling of confidence and
spin it and spin the feeling faster – keep it spinning round and round.
3. Think in your life at the time you were in the deepest trance you’ve ever been in. Take
the picture and put it where the feelings come quickly and spin it around. So you can go
into very deep states very quickly. Keep the feeling spinning so that you have the feeling
of confidence, and deep relaxation. Keep your eyes open. Keep breathing and keep going
deeper and deeper still until your vision begins to tunnel. Find the part of your body that
feels the best. Let it spread to the other parts. Go into a powerful altered state, spin it
inside, faster, spread into your legs and arms. Think of a time when things were really
easy, that feels wonderful and spin it inside your trance, you can use it to realign. As you
change your state, your voice changes.
4. Think of your toughest client. And keep this state spinning because inside your
confidence, inside your ability to alter your state and inside having a good day there is
another answer. As you begin to respond differently to these people they cannot fire off
at things that make you feel bad, because the solutions to the problems is right there in
what you don’t see and what you don’t hear.
5. Keep the relaxed state as you open your eyes, and deepen it more. Freeze the feeling
and just spin it the other way and come out quickly. Then take the feeling and spin it back
and go right back in, but eyes open this time. You can go into altered states with your
eyes opened, with your eyes closed.

VOICE TONE IN ALTERED STATES


1. In this (altered) state we’re going to take the vowels and go “Ahhhh”. When you talk
through your throat you feel it. You can feel it vibrate. When you talk out of your chest,
you’ll feel vibration in your sternum.
2. When you speak from your diaphragm you put your head back on your shoulders, take
a deep breath, you’ll feel it vibrate right here. So put your hand here for a minute (RB
touches his chest at midline) “Aaaaahhhh” Feel the difference.
3. The way to know if what you’re doing is working, is by watching. When I look at some-
body and I start to alter my state and I just look at them and I start to do it they can feel it.
And I always know because they always give me that same smirk.

TONALITY TRAINING

Repeat the following, and focus primarily on the tone. Take your two
fingers and put them like a gun. Holds up your right hand and points the
index and medial finger out, the thumb sticks up in the air at a right angle
to the index finger and the rest of the fingers are folded back towards his
palm.

Place your index and medial fingers of your right hand against the right-
hand side of his nose at nostril level and go “This is my nose.”. Then place
the same two fingers on your mouth and say, “This is my mouth.” and
then say, “This is my throat.” and feel the vibration. Then put it on your
chest and go “This is my chest.” Now if you do not feel the vibration make
sure that you move your fingers around and adjust your head back so that
you can get your tone. You should feel it vibrating through your fingers.
And then move your hand all the way down to your diaphragm and say,
“This is my diaphragm.”

Take a deep breath through your nose and go “AAAAAhhhhh” Listen with
your ears. If you hit the right note it will resonate. Go “aaaaaaah”. Then do
an “e”. eeeeeeeeee, an “i”, iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Go “ooooh”, and “u”.
uuuuuuuuuuuuu. In consciousness, “m”s are part of how people access,
they go “mmmm” Try it, go “mmmmmhhhh”.

1. Place your index and medial fingers of your right hand against the right-hand side of
your nose at nostril level and go "This is my nose."
2. Follow the same procedure for your mouth, throat, chest and diaphragm. If you do not
feel the vibration make move your fingers around and adjust your head back until you
feel it.
3. Take a deep breath through your nose and go "AAAAAhhhhh" and make it resonate.
4. Go through the letters "e, "i", "o", and "u" and "m" in the same way as the "aaaahhh"
above.

VOICE TUNE UP

TWO WORD UTTERANCES

Sit down and get into groups of three people. Person A is going to start
out. Take a deep breath and relax. Put yourself into as relaxed a state as
you can be and begin to spin the feelings of relaxation, if you find yourself
nervous at all, take the feeling outside yourself, flip it upside down, pull it
back in.

Person A then utters two words and reverses those two words and says
them back. Listen to it on the outside, it doesn’t work on the inside.

When you sit face to face and talk to somebody, the sound waves come
out and cover every part of them, so the shape of the sound is very im-
portant. Create a wave form resonance, create a vibration inside your
voice. Do not go RERERELAX!! Go, relaaaaax. Those vowels inside of
language and the way in which a loud voice resonates through a room
make it so your consciousness has trouble staying there. And while you
are doing this, watch the other two people, their skin colour and their skin
tone.

Those that are sitting going into trance, need to watch the person who is
talking. Is the tempo of their tone of voice uneven? Do they speed up and
slow down, smoothly or unsmoothly? Is their intonation leaving spaces
between each word? When they use words, do they make words sound
like what they mean? When they say the word comfort, does it sound
comforting? When they say the words space, is there some? When they
say stop, does it?

Two word utterances


1. In groups of three people. Person A spins the feelings of relaxation, (if you find your-
self nervous at all, take the feeling outside yourself, flip it upside down, pull it back in.)
2. Person A then makes two word utterances as described previously. And listens to
themselves on the outside, the way in which their voice resonates and watching the skin
colour and tone of B and C.
3. B and C watch A while going into trance to determine if the tempo of their tone of
voice is uneven, if they speed up and slow down, smoothly or not. If when they use
words, they make words sound like what they mean. For example, when they say the
word comfort, does it sound comforting.

GRAVITY ALIGNMENT & RESONATING

Now if you try something. Just put your head on the top of your shoul-
ders. Try sitting on the front of the chair, so you are on the edge of the
chair. Take your head and move it forward, and all the way back, until you
find the place where zero gravity is. Then a little bit from side to side. And

try and find the place where it takes no effort, where there is very little
resistance.

And the minute you find that place of balance with your head, realise this
goes on with your whole body: Your ability to generate sound, is based on
your ability to breathe in deeply and slowly let the sound out so form this
state, you take a deep breath and go aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh”.

Take a deep breath and listen. Make it so it stands the hair on the end of
your arms up. Make it so that it is not OK, it is fabulous. That vibration of
sound is the way to do trance work. You can’t have one voice, you need to
have voices that are for different things. When you talk about comfort your
voice need to resonate it. It needs to project it so that it bathes people in it.
That’s why if you can do that, all you need to do to put people in trances is
to count.

Learn to make it so your voice vibrates. Let it come from your diaphragm
when you take a deep breath, and let the sound come out so it resonates.
When your consciousness rotates round and round the edge of your face
and you count 20, 19, 18, it doesn’t matter which words you use, the
rotation of consciousness inside you is something that their unconscious
knows enough about for it to affect them deeply.

1. Sit on the edge of the chair. Move your head forward, and all the way back, until you
find the place where zero gravity is.
2. Move it gently from side to side. Find the place where it takes no effort, where there is
very little resistance. Being aligned will improve the resonance of your voice.
3. Breathe in deeply and slowly and let your voice come from your diaphragm so that the
sound resonates, no matter which words you use, whether you are counting or using any
other induction.
4. Listen to how your voice resonates. You need to have different voices for different
things, so that when you talk about comfort your voice resonates with it.

1, 2, 3, ... TRANCEWALTZ ... WALTZTRANCE

Hands up above your head, palms facing away from your face. Bring
them down together and put them over your knees. Palms down on your
knees, right hand – right knee, left hand-left knee and then proceeds to
beat the rhythm. ONE two three, ONE two three, etc.

Then leave the one out. So the rhythm goes, “Nothing, two three, nothing,
two, three” Beat “nothing” by holding first your right hand out in mid-air,
then beat “two” on your thigh with your left hand and beating “three” on
your thigh with your right hand, then your left hand beats “nothing” out in
mid-air, your right hand beats “two” on your thigh and so on. Only two
beats are heard. Doing this will put rhythm, spaces between words and
tone that will help people reorganise their neurology.

words. So that when you say NOW, as you LISTEN to me just BEFORE
you go into a deep trance you’re GOING to feel, that’s right, your con-
sciousness GOING deeper and deeper because in a moment you’re going
to CLOSE your eyes, and when you do you’re going to feel so relaxed
you’re going to FEEL good, that’s right, there you go, because in a
moment the ability to take him and take him down, now it’s time to double
the feeling….” (extract from Neurohypnotic Repatterning Master Zürich,
2002)

Count people down from 20 to 1, and do it to a rhythm of three. So it goes,


“1, 2, 3, 20, 1, 2, 3, 19, Feel it in the back of your spine. As your
consciousness rotates the count goes, “20, (1,2,3) 19, (1,2,3)18, (1,2,3) 17,
(1,2,3) 16, (1,2,3)15, (1,2,3)14, (1,2,3) thirrrrrteen, (1,2,3)12, (1,2,3) 11,
(1,2,3)10, because now in the depths and the depths of trance I want your
unconscious to remember to take you all the way down now, (1,2,3) 9,
(1,2,3) 8,(1,2,3) 7, (1,2,3) 6, (1,2,3) fiiiiiivve, (1,2,3) four, (1,2,3) threeee,
(1,2,3) twooo, (1,2,3) one, (1,2,3) minus one, (1,2,3) minus two.” Count
slowly, deeper, quieter, lower all the way down.

POST-HYPNOTIC SUGGESTIONS

A NURSERY RHYME TAPE LOOP

If when you go to bed at night you can think of what time you will wake up
and you wake up at that time, if you make a shopping list and forget the
list at home and buy everything that was on it, you are under the influence
of post-hypnotic suggestions.

What you need to do is lay down at night and say I’m going to wake up at
8 o’clock, for example, feeling great, highly motivated, smarter than I
was, looking for opportunity and loving every moment of my day.

You can build in your own tape loops, the way you learnt nursery rhymes
as children. Tell yourself that “The very things that were impossible for me
in the past is going to change and I am going to have freedom to try new
things, and I’m going to do something new every time I get stuck.

Say it inside your head, then say it again and keep saying it faster and
faster, as if you have an auditory tape loop, until it begins to talk like a
chipmunk, until it goes into a hum.

Once you put it inside your head and keep it spinning it becomes a post-
hypnotic suggestion in the back of your mind. So you begin to put things
inside your head that you can listen to , and in the right voice that says
things like “I’m going to be happy, I’m going to be healthy, things are
going to go well, I’m going to have new ideas”. Remember the un-
conscious doesn’t process negation, so you cannot say do not worry, do
not think of stress, do not think everything is going wrong.

1. Build in your own tape loops,.


2. Say the following text inside your head. "The very things that were impossible for me
in the past is going to change and I am going to have freedom to try new things, and I'm
going to do something new every time I get stuck. I'm going to be happy, I'm going to be
healthy, things are going to go well, I'm going to have new ideas.
3. Say it again and keep saying it faster and faster, the way you learnt nursery rhymes as
children, until it begins to talk like a chipmunk,
4. Spin it even faster until it goes into a hum.
5. You can put things inside your head that you can listen to, in the right voice and keep it
spinning so it becomes a post-hypnotic suggestion. When you choose your tape script
remember the unconscious doesn't process negation.

CREATIVITY-STRATEGY

EXPLORATION

1. Trance Induktion
Find yourself a partner. A do a quick trance induction with B. Have B take two fingers and
hold at about eye level, the index fingers pointing towards each other. "As you push your
fingers together very slowly stare in between them and then think of one of the most
creative moments of their life. It doesn’t matter what you were doing. One time where
you found the solution … what we’re interested in is the time when you’ve come up with
solutions when you really surprised yourself.”

2. Age Regression
Now as soon as B gets that feeling, have them let the feeling drain down their finger tips,
into their arms and then have them pull their fingers apart and let the feeling get more
intense. Have B close their eyes and go back in their mind in time and each time they pull
their fingers apart, they are to think of another time when they found a creative solution.
Until they notice where in their body the creative solution starts, where it moves. The
further they pull apart, the stronger the sensation. Have B run through it three or four
times really quickly. Amplify it using any hypnosis technique.

3. That Creative Feeling


Have B select one of the best examples. Then A is to interview B and write down a very
detailed analysis of this feeling, where it starts, how it moves, how it builds to the very
moment where the solution pops out of B’s mind.
"… if it’s tingling, what kind of tingling, see if you can get vivid description…”
The description is to get B to take control over the neurological elements that auto-
matically happen. It’s to slow the process down enough to so they can decide to run the
process in reverse if they want to … we can get into the chemical state where our
creativity begins to flow as freely as our anxiety…

TRANSFER

1. Remember you sat opposite your partner and they went into a state where they were
remembering powerful states of creativity.

2. Now close your eyes and go back and see their face. Close your eyes and remember
and breathe at the same rate that they did and literally float in your mind across and step
inside them. So that you can begin to get some of the feeling of what it would be like to
be breathing at the rate that they were, moving their face the way that they were, neuro-
synapping the way that they were

3. But it doesn’t mean you have to become them, it only means you have to physiologi-
cally change, the muscles in your face, the way in which your breathing, because it will
change some of the chemicals inside your mind, in a way that will allow you to step in-
side their model of the world, … that would allow you a whole new set of understandings

The foundation of your joy that you’ve had in the past serves as the reser-
voir to begin to fill up all the joy in the future. now if you dip into the reser-
voir of joy and the reservoir of possibilities and you let your mind wander
into the future and you begin to realise you can

CONNECTIONS

“The idea is to connect the idea of yourself not to who you are but to
who you could be because that is limitless.”

1. Deep Trance
A & B send C into a trance as quickly and deeply as possible. Have C see a life-sized
picture of themselves in front of them. Have them connect a wire from the left arm of the
picture to their own left arm. Have them see the left arm in the picture lift as they lift their
left arm. They should feel the connection.

2. Installation
Run wires from the internal picture to the back of C’s head. Run connections from the
heart in the picture to C’s heart, so that if the heart rate in the picture slows down, so
does C’s heart rate. In a similar manner connect lungs, deep trance state, metabolism
rates, circulatory system, hormones, enzymes etc. Make sure there are lots of levels to
work with.
"Now if you go to the one of the circulatory system and you begin to look at the circu-
latory system and see the blood moving around and see the blood as it goes through
getting cleaner as it moves through the liver, going back into the heart and being purer

and purer, you begin to realise that the more you pump blood pure, the more the liver
actually actively cleans it out, the more that the hormones and the enzymes pump in the
things that are going to make you an energy filled person”

3. Cranking up the Metabolism Rate:


Turn up the metabolism rate in the image and see how the internal image is more active:
rapid eye movements beneath the lids, increased breathing and face colour. The more
exhilarated the image begins to look the more exhilarated C is.
Above the image place a clock set at real time. Then accelerate it to an hour later. So
during that half hour C is going to continue with exhilaration.

4. Intervals:
Take a two minute intervals to go into a deep deep trance to allow your body to refuel the
chemicals, to begin to burn energy differently, to make adjustments. Because the more
you rest the more you are ready at the end of those two minutes to go back into a state of
exhilaration.

5. Miraculous results
You can make a picture of other people and hook wires from the picture in yours to their
brain.
"I do it all the time and I get miraculous results that no one can explain …. Miracles are
the rule, not the exception. Science doesn’t know how electricity works or magnets work,
but we do know that they do and that’s good enough to control them.”

TRANCEINDUCTION

Now, let’s take this one step further. Remember you sat opposite your
partner and they went into a state where they were remembering powerful
states of creativity. Now close your eyes and go back and see their face.

Close your eyes and remember and breathe at the same rate that they did
and literally float in your mind across and step inside them. So that you
can begin to get some of the feeling of what it would be like to be
breathing at the rate that they were, moving their face the way that they
were, neuro-synapping the way that they were, because every day as you
meet new people and you talk to new people, if you don’t go into the state
they’re in, you’re not going to see the images in their mind, you’re not
even really going to understand what it is that they’re saying the way that
they do, you’ll only understand your own way. But it doesn’t mean you
have to become them, it only means you have to physiologically change,
the muscles in your face, the way in which you are breathing, because it
will change some of the chemicals inside your mind, in a way that will
allow you to step inside their model of the world. It doesn’t mean you
need to feel their pain, it doesn’t mean you need to go through their
personal history, it doesn’t mean you need to assume their physical
difficulties, if they have asthma it doesn’t mean you have to have asthma.
All you need to be able is to get enough of the neurochemistry that you
begin to feel that burst of creativity inside yourself, that would allow you a
whole new set of understandings. Now tonight in the state when you
sleep and you dream your unconscious has been close enough to hear
me, and to realise that the dots I’ve been trying to connect are the infinite
number of dots that lay out across the universe.

Since time began humans have looked into the sky and drawn lines bet-
ween the stars, they made the constellations. Well, the constellations in
every tribe and every culture were somewhat different, but we took the
dots and made pictures out of the dots and we used it as a way of explai-
ning what went on in the universe. The same kinds of dots exist between
the events of your life, especially the successful events. The events that
were disappointments, the events that were unpleasant, the events that
were out of control are not the events that you need to connect the dots
between. But the ones that constitute those giant steps forward where you
had that “hmm”-experience. Where you had that “ahhh”-experience,
where you had that “oohh”-experience, where you had the experience
where you learn what it meant to have full on, full tilt smorgasm. Where
you had some more understanding, where you had smore ideas where
you had smore solutions. Because tonight while you sleep and while you
dream as you drop into the depths and the depths of trance, I want the
unconscious portions of each and both of you to go into a deeper and a
deeper state, just for the purpose of preparation.

That feeling of your face where the skin moves around, where you notice
first the point on the top of your forehead, then on one side of your face,
then your chin and the other side of your face and as your consciousness
begins to circle your own face, what you’re doing is literally drawing lines
on the motor cortex that follow a certain pattern. Now this is just one
pattern that follows the cortex that releases all of the chemicals that con-
trol all of the functions inside your mind. But remember: that’s just one
brain, the other brain inside you, we now know that all of the whole organ,
solid and hollow organs inside your body, your heart and your pericar-
dium, your stomach and your spleen, your large intestines, that all of
those organs put together have the same synaptic network that the brain
does and it has as many neuroconnections as the brain does. All that old
stuff in psychology about how feelings can be your guide, turn out to be
more true biologically than anyone would ever have imagined.

The importance of spinning good feelings inside you and spinning the fee-
ling of creativity round and round and finding those feelings of pleasure
and finding the feelings of hope and driving them into the future so that
you begin to look at all the possibilities, is so that no matter what happens
I guarantee you shitty things will happen in your life, but the important
thing is, what do you do with them?

Do you look through them and into the future and feel some never again
and then realise how you can become stronger? You’ve always become
stronger from the past, so there’s no reason to stop now, there’s only a
need to go into the future and to realize that you can extend your know-
ledge even further. You can find better ways of living, better ways of doing
and better ways of understanding by going into just the right relaxed state,
you need to go deeper still, deeper, still, still, still deeper, deeper down
inside what it is that you failed to see, whatever joys you’ve known in your
life, you’ll know more.

The foundation of your joy that you’ve had in the past serves as the reser-
voir to begin to fill up all the joy in the future. Now if you dip into the re-
servoir of joy and the reservoir of possibilities and you let your mind
wander into the future and you begin to realize you can expand upon this.
Too many people take too many pains and use it to avoid the future. You
can move away from the past or you can move into the future and if you
move into the future you need to have a plan that says, things are going to
get better, you’re going to become smarter, solider, firmer and more
directed.

How do you aim all this chaos by knowing in which direction you want to
go. Not by knowing where you were trying to get, failure is only a defini-
tion of time and place. There’s always more grandiose things out there. I
did not set out to invent all of NLP. I set out to write one little tiny book

about one little tiny thing and it just kept growing and growing because at
every avenue I looked I found new more excitement. The same thing is
true about relationships. Paula and I were supposed to be the couple that
didn’t last. People didn’t think we’d make it to a date, let alone 32 years.
They didn’t think that we would be able to survive the difficulties that
come, but the one thing that we shared was an adamant belief that bet-
ween the two of us we could make things better than we could if we did it
by ourselves. You see it becomes an important thing as time goes on that
you realize this isn’t just true between people. It’s true for every single
individual.

That the way in which you use both the right hemisphere and the left
hemisphere and the feelings inside you, that you spin these three pheno-
menon into something that’s much greater, that you begin to spin the web
of neurosynaptic circuits inside your mind so that they’re aimed and taut
like a bow to shoot into the future possibilities to take you to places way
beyond anything you thought was possible.

So tonight while you sleep and while you dream, your unconscious which
is close enough to hear and to respond is going to use this as the oppor-
tunity to begin to take the dots from all the times and places throughout
your past life, all the happy times, all the good feelings, all the good suc-
cesses, all the creative moments and to tie the threads between them to
taut the bow so that you can begin to launch into the future tomorrow, and
begin to be headed in a much better direction, a much easier direction, a
much more solid direction.

Remember above and beyond everything else, every one of you is the re-
sult of an initial success. Millions and billions of sperm die every year, and
yet each one of you is the one that made it, against all odds. You started
out a success and you will continue to be a success. If you have the same
attitude you’re built of success. So therefore if you free yourself from the
nonsense, if you free yourself from the worry, if you free yourself from the
doubt, and take all the successes that constitute all the things you’ve done
in all the times and places and pull that bow tight and fire the arrow into
your imagination and shoot out into your future, limitless possibilities will
become yours while your mind takes flight - possibilities you hadn’t even
considered.

Most of you only had considered your friends and your careers, you
haven’t considered the infinite possibilities that could be yours in the
future year. In fact in the days and the weeks ahead you need to prepare
yourself so that instead of going backwards, you really begin to connect
the dots, and better yet, to create new dots and connect. If one man can
build himself a gyroscope and get his sense of balance then it should be
possible for any one of you to begin to build in to your own unconscious
that overwhelming sense of possibility that leads to people like me.

They keep telling me I’m a genius, I keep telling them I’m just stubborn.
I won’t settle for less and neither should you. There’s no reason for you to,
because in the spell of what I tell you comes from the stars tonight, the
moon is in the right place and we’re on the right place on the planet to
begin to make anything possible. Your dreams are only the limits of what
you can imagine. Your dreams could be much more grandiose, it’s not
whether you’re a millionaire by Christmas because even if you were it
doesn’t mean you would be happy: There are lots and lots of miserable
millionaires. Take it from somebody who has them as clients all the time.
The trick is to achieve true wealth.
True wealth is where every moment is special. When you are married and
you touch the hand of the person you love, when you have children and
you just look at them that you feel that overwhelming joy in the knowledge
that everything you have and every moment that’s special will always be
special. So even when you lose a loved one it doesn’t matter so much
because you know how to love. And every moment you had with them is
going to stay special. In fact no one can ever take that away from you and
the same thing is true about everything that’s good about your own per-
sonal history. The question is what are you going to do about the future?
Are you going to wait or are you going to accelerate? I think without even
understanding why, the time is now, the place is here and the purpose is
because. With that in mind have a good time tonight and I shall see you
tomorrow …

GO IN TRANCE – TRANCE IN GO

Put your feet on the floor and you stop and think about your own strategy.
If you think about where you first felt the feelings that led to the solutions
and the creative feelings that whatever it took to put you into this state
where you found new solutions. Now whatever feeling was there whatever
sensations were there, it was capable of adjusting you chemically that is
right down at the chemical level so that you were capable of searching and
sorting through the synapses inside your mind where you don’t normally
look.

Some of you only look down the avenues of regret. And some of you only
look down the avenues that you’ve been in, some of you look at the
horizons but you can’t see what’s clearly there but every once in a while
you go into the state where you begin to see clearly what’s always been
sort of the elusive obvious.

Moshe Feldenkrais named his book the “Elusive Obvious”. For all the
great solutions to all the insurmountable problems that have ever existed
on planet earth seem to be in the simplicity. That you take the simple and

you pull it inside what seems complex and suddenly you begin to be able
to see other ways of doing things.

Now if it’s mechanical solutions, you have to build inside your mind
mechanical objects that are as precise as the outside world. If it’s musical
solutions you have to be able to hear things as precisely on the inside as
you do on the outside. The same thing is true about painting and poetry
and about businesses.

Those of us that run businesses have to go five years into the future and
move backwards to the present and figure out how to make those
magnanimous steps forward. Those are things that we can do quickly,
because in the end most of the money on research and development in
most companies and market research is a big waste of time. The answers
are obvious and they’re right there in front of your face. You can talk to ten
or fifteen people and find out as much as you can with ten million dollars
worth of market research. Because when you start to ask people, what it is
that they want and what it is that they need, when you start to figure out
about the things that you go through in your own life, about what would
make it so that something is more something that you want, something
that is more desirable in whatever the things are that you do.

For me with every client that comes in the door, I think that the desirable
solution is for them to walk out of the door with hope, excitement and a
way to approach what they thought was impossible. If they had an over-
whelming fear of heights, I want them not to be just headed to the Grand
Canyon, I want them to be gnawing at the bit, because they spent their
whole life avoiding something instead of being curious about what it’s like.
The curious in each of both of you in the course of this weekend is to be
able to seize opportunity to seeing solutions. You’re going into the state
where you take this very feeling and you run it faster and faster, till it
becomes almost an instinct. An instinct that when you come up against
what’s difficult to begin to run the right solutions through your body, the
right endomorphines, the right serotonin, the right giggles, the right
smiles, the right “ahas”, the right “ooooohs”, the right “mmmmhs". So
that you're beginning to move quickly to the solutions, so that you start to
hear what’s not there rather than these “I’m depressed”. Don’t just
blurt out “about what?” I want you to go “Hmmm, how is it possible
to be depressed in a world with infinite complexity of
opportunity to be so depressed.” Obviously there’s some-thing
they’re not seeing and something they’re not doing. So how do you get
the blind to see and the deaf to hear. Believe me I ask the question every
day.

And I’m asking it today. The answer is deep inside you. It’s deep inside the
synapses that aren’t firing, it’s deep inside the parts of your body and the
feelings that you’re not moving. It’s not what you’re doing, it’s what you’re

not doing. And out of the infinite range of possibilities of the solutions to
all the forms of satisfaction that you’re not experiencing that I know: that
you can find something that will illuminate the future and make it bright
enough that you’ll have to wear shades just to see till tomorrow.

BUILDING BETTER AND BETTER AND BETTER FUTURES

With this you can programme your clients, so that into the future every-
thing gets better.

You need to know your partner’s timeline. If you ask people to think about
things in the future, they know at some point in time they are going to pay
their mortgage or their rent, they know that it is going to be next year. For
a lot of people the future is in front and the past is behind them, for
people the past is to left and the future is to the right. If you go to Japan
the future is up, the past is down. Doesn’t matter where it is, we just want
to know where the future is.

You need to know where their operational beliefs are. Those are the
beliefs you have about what you are going to do, such as go to the
bathroom eventually, brush your teeth. The minute you look at a
toothbrush you know what it’s for and how to use it. Ask “How do you
know you’ll be going to the bathroom in the future?” Wherever they look
is where the picture is. You can also just ask them to point to the picture.

You need to build in super states of motivation and to do that you need to
run through the sub-modalities. Tell your partner to take one memory of
having been motivated and to make the picture bigger.

Then tell them to project the picture onto the operational belief, to make it
bigger and pull it up towards them and then put it the closest in the future
on the time line.

Then you have them go back to the same memory and you have them
change one of the other things in the sub-modalities which increases the
intensity of their motivation, such as turning the volume up, increasing the
size of the image, reducing the distance, increasing the brightness, adding
a border or removing it, adding colour or making the image black and
white and do the same procedure described above. Place the new picture
just behind the first one.

So what they put on their time line is an ever increasing intensity of moti-
vation or learning or trance. Build 5, 6, 7, 8 pictures out into the future and
then take all of them and collapse them together. So that on their future
timeline every time they think about brushing their teeth or what ever it is,

they are going to have an intense feeling of motivation and so they are
going to have success more success, even more success.

Exercise 1:Building Better Futures


1. Sit on the side of people, so that you can move their images around.
2. Find out where the client's future is on their timeline.
3. Find out where their operational beliefs are.
a. Ask "How do you know you are going to brush your teeth in the future?"
b. Wherever they look is where the picture is.
4. Build in a super state of motivation
a. Tell the client to take one memory of having been motivated and to make the picture
bigger.
b. tell them to project the picture onto their operational belief
c. to make it bigger and pull it up very quickly towards them
d. put it the closest in the future on their time line.
e. Have them go back to the same memory and change one of the submodalities so it
increases the intensity of their motivation
f. Follow the same procedure described in steps b&c.
g. Place the new picture just behind the one before. Add 5, 6, 7, 8 pictures the same way.
h. Take all of them and collapse them together on their future timeline, so that every time
they think about the operational belief, in this case brushing their teeth, they will have
an intense feeling of motivation.

Exercise 2: Building Happier Future States


1. Sit so your lungs are open. Listen, not just to yourself but to everything so that you
take every sound in the room as a signal for the person to go down deeper, down. Make
every word count, make every second count
2. Practise rotating your consciousness in your head.
3. Lift up their arm and tell them to let it go down only at the rate and speed at which
they go deeper and deeper into trance.
4. Have them and relive the greatest moment of happiness in their life.
5. Have them double the feeling and spin it at the midline. And spin it faster and faster
and faster
6. Pull it out of their beliefs and attach it in their future (see previous exercise) and tell
them it is going to double and double again. So that the deeper they go into trance, the
more you can aim them in the future, so that as long as the sun is coming up they can get
happier and happier.

DEEEEP DIVING

Learn to sit on the side of people, so that you can move their images
around, so that you can take the images and pull them out and push them
in.

Find out their belief. For example, “Do you believe the sun is coming up?
Test to find out where the strong belief is.

Ask where the picture is, how big it is. Have them put a picture of them-
selves going into a deep trance on it. And then tell them to pull it closer
and closer and faster and faster until it comes all the way up and goes
“hits” them in the face. As you say this you move the picture close to

their face quickly so they automatically close their eyes. At that point tell
them, “That’s right, all the way down deep deep inside.

Lift your partner’s right arm and induce arm catalepsy possibly by saying,
“So in a minute I’m going to reach over and I’m going to lift this arm up
and I’m not going to tell you to put it down any faster than your uncon-
scious takes you deeper and deeper than you have been into a trance yet
and go through and find the things that normally limit you. Whether
they’re angry feelings, fearful feelings, it doesn’t matter, you know which
feelings, feel bad and dissemble them and make them go away. That’s
right. Such that when you touch your knee your unconscious will have
undone most of this and created a great amount of space to put something
wonderful in. That’s right, all the way down now.”

Induce catalepsy of the other arm possibly by saying, “So that as you lift
this hand up, what’s going to happen is, is you’re going to get a rush and a
variety of wonderful, zippy good feelings. Starting with one which makes
you feel a rush of adrenaline. ZZZZZttttt.” Raise the client’s arm with each
zzzt sound and carry on in this manner saying, “That’s right, a double rush
of adrenaline, zzzzzzt”, “one where you begin to feel happy and giddy
zzzzzt”, “one where you begin to feel joyful. One where there’s hope for
happiness, zzzt”, “and one where you begin to feel like anything is
possible and not only that when we go down the other way all of it will
double and triple and combine into one giant good feeling, ZZZZZt. As you
say this use a downward intonation and push the same arm down all the
way to their knee.

Then give them a post-hypnotic suggestion that is simply, zzzzzz sleep,


(anchor set on knee) that will put them in and zzt (anchor set on shoulder),
will bring them out. So that you can go down, up, down. Deepening
trances is done by fractionation. The more you go in and out of trance the
deeper you can go. Once you have set them, test them.

Spin that trance inside yourself. Look at that person, it will come through
in your tone of your voice. The deeper you go the more trancey you are
and literally spin it in your mind right through them and deepen them
down. Use slow and deliberate tonality. Listen to your tempo.

The third person is to listen to the person doing hypnosis and if their
voice is going too fast, if they are beginning to use whiney high-pitched
tonality and if they are not watching the person they are doing this with,
let them know non-verbally.

Deepen your partner’s trance by counting from 20 down to one. Give your
voice a soft and downward intonation. Say for example, “…and the more
you learn to drop in deeper and deeper and deeper, sometimes it helps to
count, from 20 to 1 and deepen your trance with each count. 20 going

down19, 18, 17, 16, 15, dropping, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, siiiiix, siiiix,
fiiiiive, four, threeeee, all the way down now, twoooo, oooone.” Do this to
the beat of three.

In your mind, rotate your consciousness around the edge of your face. It
affects them even if the person does not know you are doing hypnosis.
You should be able to listen to the rhythm of your voice, take your time
and take your pacing so that as your partner goes down deeper and
deeper and deeper still, you relax so that when you touch them, (see pain
control), and tighten your hands and when you relax them, they go all the
way down. You do a state that is deeper than any they have been in
before, because it is not just the words that you use.

Tell them to think of the situations that bother them and start at the end
and run the memories backwards.

Before you bring them out, give them a post hypnotic suggestion such as
the following: “In a moment you are going to come out of this trance but
not really because you are going to go into a new trance, one which is
different where the world sounds different, where it feels different where
you become more sensitive and where everything becomes easier be-
cause you can ease under, you can ease over, you can ease through.”

“In a moment, I’m going to reach out and touch you on the top of your
head and when you do your consciousness is going to raise from your
toes straight up through your body to the place where my finger touches
and when it does your eyes are going to open and you’re going to feel
wonderful and you will have an unexplainable sense of well-being. And
you will feel the need to be able to share that and to install it in the people
that are around you. You ready, one, two, zzzzzzzt there we go”.
Fire the shoulder anchor previously set to bring your partner out of the
trance and test your work. Clients will try in vain to feel bad about one of
the situations that bothered them before. Most of the things that people
feel bad about and suffer from every day are bad post-hypnotic sugge-
stions. You can go in and use a deep trance get rid of it.

Exercise: Deeeep Diving


1. Spin that trance inside yourself.
2. Observer's feedback
The observer person listens to the person doing hypnosis and lets them know non-
verbally if their voice is too fast or their tonality high-pitched or if they are not watching
the person they are working with.
3. Strong Beliefs
a. Find out where the client's strong beliefs are, and how big it is eg "Do you believe the
sun is coming up tomorrow?" Have them put a picture of themselves going into a deep
trance on it.
b. Tell them to pull it closer and closer and faster and faster until it comes all the way up
and "hits" them in the face. As you say this gesture so you bring their image up to their

face quickly and they automatically close their eyes. When they do say: "That's right, all
the way down deep deep inside.
4. Arm Catalepsy
a. Lift the client's right arm and induce arm catalepsy and don't have them put it down
any faster than their unconscious takes them deeper than they have been into a trance
yet and as
b. they go through and find the things that normally limit them and dissemble them.
c. So that when their hand touches their knee their unconscious will have created a great
amount of space to put something wonderful in.
5. Arm Levitation
a. By saying, that as they lift their arm, they will have wonderful, zippy good feelings. As
you say this raise the client's arm emphasising the movement with sound.
b. Keep raising the clients arm, punctuate each notch up with a description of the increa-
sing intensity of the good feeling and a sound like "Zzzzzt" said in a rising intonation.
c. Once their arm is straight up tell the client that when they go down all of those feelings
will double and triple and combine into one giant good feeling, and punctuate the
downward motion with another ZZZZZt. As you say this use a downward intonation and
push the same arm down all the way to their knee.
6. Deepening Trance

a. Anchors for Fractionation


1. Set an anchor on their knee that will put them into trance, anchor one on their shoulder
that will bring them out and test the anchors.

b. Countdown
1. Count from 20 down to one to the beat of three. Give your voice a soft and downward
intonation. Use slow and deliberate tonality. In your mind, rotate your consciousness
around the edge of your face.
2. Touch them, (see pain control), and relax them
7. Better Feelings about Bad Memories
Tell them to think of the situations that bother them and start at the end and run the
memories backwards.
8. Positive Post Hypnotic Suggestion
9. Bring the Client out of trance
Fire the shoulder anchor previously set and test your work. Most of the things that people
feel bad about and suffer from every day are bad post-hypnotic suggestions so you can
use a deep trance to get rid of it.

TIEING THE KNOTS TOGETHER

Sit down with your partner. Put them in the deepest trance you can.
Primarily so that you can practise rotating your consciousness in your
head. Looking them in the eye, even when their eyes are closed this works.

When they are in the trance, lift up their arm and tell them to let it go down
only at the rate and speed at which they go deeper and deeper into
trance.

So when you get them into a deep trance, have them go back and find the
greatest moment of happiness in their life. When their children were born,
when they fell in love, they do not have to tell you what it was, but have
them see what they saw when they were there and feel what they felt.

When you see the shine begin to come inside them, have them double it
and spin it at the midline. And spin it faster and faster and faster,

Pull it out of their beliefs and attach it in their future and tell them it is
going to double and double again. So that the deeper they go into trance,
the more you access the range of their neurology, the more you can aim
them in the future, so that as long as they are breathing, and as long as
the sun is coming up and as long as the future is coming, they can get
happier and happier, so they realise all they need to be happy, is just to do
it and then when they do something worth being happy about, it will be
even better.

Make every word count, make every second count. Sit so your lungs are
open. Listen, not just to yourself but to everything so that you take every
sound in the room as a signal for the person to go down deeper, down. If
they have internal dialogue, tell them to slow it down, and make the tone
lower, and say the words, “sleep, shut up, sleep, sleep, shut up, shut up
sleep.”

ONE LAST TRANCE BY RICHARD

Now sit back and close your eyes for a minute, put your feet on the floor,
take a deep breath, in through your mouth and slowly let it out through
your nose. And to realise yes, I have people meditate different than the
Maharishas but I don’t want them to keep meditating for the rest of their
lives, I want them to be able to go in any trance they want to go. I want
them to go into trances where they are happy and trances where they are
generous. And trances where they are determined.
If you just pay attention to the two points under each eye sockets, you will
feel more determined for no reason. It’s just a thing. It’s part of the acu-
puncture points. It’s part of how you are built as an organism. And if you
become more determined to have every day of your life get better. It will.
If you plan not just to wake up in the morning but to wake up excited. You
will.

So now in this one last trance. this weekend I want each of you to go
down, little deep diving. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and let your-
self float down. If you want a better memory , if you want to be smarter,
anything you want is at the access of the door. Because it wouldn’t come
from me, it‘s going to come from you in the end anyway. If you want to be
healthier, if you want to smile more of the time, it doesn’t matter what it’s
that you want , what really matters is that you start to get the things that
you want. If you begin to realise that learning is something that comes

from the wisdom to let go of your old beliefs, to begin to make yourself
believe now is the time to just relax and let the other mind do this.

You can by a simple thing, take a little smile let the good feeling tingle
down, curl your toes back and let that smile come up your legs, and just let
the good feeling swirl around your and as you relax and go deeper and
deeper and deeper still, just float down, feel things coming up around you
and the deeper down you go, the more you will begin to realise that your
unconscious now can learn just what it takes to be able to find what it’s
that you want from here to the next time we meet on the mountain of
truth.
Because in this seminar and not just in this seminar but any place in which
you are, you have the to ability through simple relaxation to let the other
mind, not this mind, not that mind, not this mind, but your other mind,
your other mind, your other mind learning because back when you were
young as a child before you spoke language before you knew anything
about nothing, you still knew enough to listen and learn a whole language,
whatever your native tongue is. You still knew enough to learn so that you
could walk on your own two feet you learned to say hello, you learned to
say goodbye, you learned how to sleep, you learned how to eat, you
learned how to hold a cup, you learned how to lift a spoon, you learned so
many things so quickly that it’s actually pretty amazing.

Well as you’ve grown older they say you can’t learn as easily, but I believe
that’s a lie. The past lies behind you, the future is ahead. If you let the
future open up for you and you begin to focus yourself so that you begin
to let your desires and your hopes and your dreams form at the uncon-
scious level now. And begin to build the blocks the foundation, the little
pieces that it takes to begin to put together something that you can use for
the rest of your life.

Learning is important and you’re learning now. You’re learning just what it
takes to make changes. And those changes will stay with you You’re going
to do things that will allow you to surprise and delight yourself because
your unconscious has been close enough to hear me for these three days.
And when I say to you “Hello, how you doing?” then I want you to know
that each and everyone one of you can do the same, because what you’re
learning to do now is to let your unconscious drift inside, take a moment
to refuel yourself and go back to the first day we were here. The first mo-
ment you heard my voice, and let your unconscious review the ideas I’ve
been placing in our mind consciously and unconsciously as well. Because
unconsciously you’ve heard things you didn’t hear consciously and your
unconscious knows that I’ve been trying to steer you into just the right
place, to steer you into the state.

You see every country has different states, in the States you could be in
Arkansas, New York or Alabama. Milton used to say when you’re in Ari-

zona you’re with me but you see I travel from country to country and from
state to state and in this state this is the state in which learning transpires
that will stay with you for the rest of your life because learning is only
something that you literally take a picture, you put it inside your head and
you put it into your future mind from the back of your unconscious now
and whether or not you know it consciously, you can’t stop yourself from
preventing the fact that something wonderful has happened.

You’ve done something different and insofar as you run through the past
three days and realise there are moments here where you felt a different
feeling, there are moments here where you had a different thought and
from that different thought I want you to move forward in time and think
about your home, think about your office, think about where you work,
think about the people you know that used to bring you down, in fact I
want you to think about your client or the relative or the person that I
asked you to think about the first day, the one that made you go, “oh shit.”
The one that was a problem. My guess is, is if you think about them now,
you really going to have a little voice in the back of your mind that says
something more like “Their ass is mine.”

Because with a little attitude adjustment, with a little shift in your beha-
viour, you will discover that you can make things easier, you can make
them smile in spite of themselves and when you go back people are going
to look at you and say, “What’s the matter with you? You look so relaxed.”
And in fact having gone in and out of trance over and over again, most of
you look five or ten years younger, the stress has drift away.

Keep doing this, practise, practise, practise, take those extra moments in
your day and go for a little deep diving, it’s the best beauty treatment of
all, bubble up with good feelings, because in a moment I’m going to ask
you to open your eyes and go home, but before you do there’s a couple of
things that I want to say which I believe are true.

There are some things about this seminar that really I think it’s time that
we dispelled the worries. It’s not that I expect you to do anything other
than try a lot to do new the things. The things you already do well will
never disappear. You can only add, you can only get better or you can get
worse. So I recommend you aim yourself towards happier, healthier, more
excited younger, more relaxed, more vibrant, smarter and make sure that
you double all your good feelings and push away the ideas that don’t
make you happy.

Now I’d like you to very slowly open your eyes because I want you to
realise that this particular seminar is the trance you never come out of and
when you open your eyes I want you to feel more alive, I want you to take
your happiness with you, I want you to take all your good ideas, I want
