NURSING ADMINISTRATION
1 CORINTHIANS

A. Key Points
 Pray to the God
 Love each other
 God’s gift
B. My Personal Reflection
“I always thank God about you, for you have received the grace of God through Jesus
Christ” (1 Cor 1:4).
Never forget to pray to the God at all times and everywhere, because only with his gifts I
can do my daily life. God already give us so many gifts to me, which of them is “health”,
keeping in mind that at this time I am still in good health I can remember that there’s God
who gives health to me. I must keep God in my mind at all times, not just when I am sick, but
all times and everywhere.
As a nurse when I am providing care to patients who need spiritual care, with
remembering them to always praying to God, especially in asking for the healing of their
disease and ask for protection in life. He is the one that gives us life in every breath of us, he
is the one that can take our life everytime he wants, this soul is his and will come back to
him.
“Brothers, I ask you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all be agreed, and do not
you pro-parties among you, but you shall become one, with one heart and one mind” (1 Cor
1:10).
Unite, any difference that exists in us, God never wanted any fight between his people.
God recommends to his followers to love each other because all human beings are his
creation. Love will bring peace, both in behavior and speech. Respect for one another would
eliminate every different that exist in this world, making human have one thing in common,
which is the same as God’s creation whose goal is to spread peace in the name of God, love
and respect each other.
As a nurse, I have an obligation to provide an equal treatment to each patient in our care.
Does not discriminate each patient even if they are poor or rich, smart or a fool, good or bad,
when they come to me, I give them the same service. By giving the same love and
compassion to every patient, they will feel valued as an ailing patient in the hospital. With
love and affection that given in treatment will accelerate the healing process of patients, as
long as the treatment they are not treated as people who are sick and it will speed up the
recovery process

2 CORINTHIANS
A. Key Points
 Remember To God for who seeking for happiness
 God will give bring happiness to those to have worked hard
 God will lighten the burden of his followers
B. My Personal Reflection
“who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those who are in various trouble
with the comfort, which we own comforted by God” (2 Cor 1:4).
Remember to God at anywhere and anytime. When I am in a state of happy or sad,
healthy or sick, in a free state or when I’m in trouble. Remembering to God will strengthen
my heart, and if God wants he will provide a way out of every problem I am facing and
makes it easier to do. Surely, God is in every of his followers that in trouble, waiting for them
searching for help from God, because it’s a temptation from him to his followers, if they can
pass the temptation, god surely will give them happiness at the end.
“If we get into trouble, it is to strengthen your mind, for salvation. If our inner strengthened,
then you also boosted so that you be steadfast in difficulties as we were suffering too” (2 Cor
1:6).
The Nurse is a profession that works for 24 hours in the hospital. I am giving care to
every patient in a hospital and help them to became health from their illness. Working with
such heavy burden make sometimes I am getting tired, sad and not free, and sometimes I
have a problem in my family because I do not have much time for my family, working for 7 –
11 hours make many problems came. But, when I do my job by looking for sincerity, God
will lighten the burden on me, making me feel more confident in doing the work because
what I face in my work is a human life. By seeking refuge to God in any of my work, he will
lighten my job and give me happiness to my job.
Only one mistake, and I can killing someone. To prevent that thing, before I am going to
work, I always pray to God and request for God’s protection in everything that I do.
Enlighten my burden at works and strengthen my confidence when takes care of a patient,
and then I almost never doing mistake at works. Believe in God, always pray to him and he
will give happiness to my work.

ROMANS
A. Key Points
 Love is never wrong
 Treat everyone the same as we treat our self
 Love each other
B. My Personal Reflection
“Love does no wrong to every humans; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law” (Rom
13:10).
Love never do wrong to humans, because love is happiness itself. With love inside our
heart, all mankind will love each other and piece will come on the earth. Respect each other
is one form of love. When we respect other people, feel that they have the same rights as all
of us, have the same freedom. Treat all humankind as our brothers of the family, helping each
other in goodness, not in crime. Because love is what out God teach to us.
In its application in my life, as a nurse is when treating patients, I have to treat them as
my own family, provide a sense of care to them sincerely from the bottom of my hearts, not
make different in my services, everything is equally in services that i give every day. I’m not
deny that if there are things that make my services different from one to another like the
cooperation of patients to nurses that will complicate the implementation of the treatment
process, but I am as a nurse should be able to be professional, I should be able to modify the
method of service that I provide to each patient following their characteristics. Friendly
Patient, tempered patient, cooperative patient, uncooperative patients, rich or poor, good or
bad, I treated all of them equally, based on affection, all will be treated like my own family.
Thus the application of compassion in the treatment process will create a conducive
atmosphere during the treatment process.
“Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual
immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy” (Rom 13:13).
As a nurse, I should be polite in order to provide comfort to the patient, in addition, I also
have been given the knowledge that things like drunken and free sex is something that is not
good, and God had already told it to his followers and that why god forbid us to do that thing.
One form of punishment from god to free sex offender is HIV-AIDS disease, but in the
process of treatment, I still have to be polite to them, do not fear of them, because I have
been given the knowledge on the disease. Treating them as ordinary patients, but slightly
different in its treatment process, to prevent contamination process. I should not treat them
like criminals, because actually when I treat them properly as a human, God will repay me
with the gifts of heaven.
TITUS

C. Key Points
 To be wise
 Respect each other
 Diligent in our work
D. My Personal Reflection
“Men who are older should be able to refrain, Honorable, self-controlAnd sound in faith, in
love, and in endurance”(Tit 2:2).
Someone should act as its age, someone age is expected to further grow its wisdom
because it has a lot of experience in their life, and are expected to be able to guide their
younger ones to remain in the goodness in his life, away from everything that is prohibited
by God.
At the working environment, there must be senior and junior, we should be able to act as
our position in the workplace, as a senior in nursing I have to guide my junior, to make sure
there are no errors in the process of care they give to avoid unwanted things. Provides a good
example and be a role model in the workplace. As a junior I should honor my seniors, imitate
my senior's good behavior but do not follow the wrong behavior of them. Making senior
mistakes as a lesson in the work to make my self better and knowledge by learning from the
senior. Familiarizing themselves to the senior in order to have a sense of family for work,
because with them is I am will cooperate in the work.
“And thus educating the younger women to love their husbands and children”(Tit 2:4).
As a nurse, I also have an obligation to teach my patients to have healthy behavior, to
improve their health status. Teaches how to give first aid if a family member gets sick, how
to prevent the disease getting worse, how to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases
and the most important is to teach how to have a good health behavior that can prevent
healthy family members become ill. It is my responsibility as a nurse, to make someone not
knowing anything to knowing and educated good health. With a sense of sincerity and
begged God to facilitate all the activities I am doing, God will respond, with all the good
things we do not expect, like people who gladly accept the health programs that I had Tto
give and people who cooperate against nurses. And the smile appeared on the face of
someone who has worked hard.

COLOSSIANS
A. Key Points
 To upgrade ourself
 Do not be satisfied against our old selves
 Update yourself to become more mature personal
B. My Personal Reflection
“You now been given a new life. You are the new man, which is being updated constantly by
the Creator, which is God, according to His own image. The idea is that you know God
perfectly”(Col : 3:10).
As a human, I have to upgrade myself, from bad to good behavior and always improving
myself to be perfect in my life. Perfection is God’s, but I have to try to be perfect with always
upgrading my knowledge, doing a good thing every day even if it's only helping an old
woman crossing a street, I have to be good to myself too, know what is bad for myself and
then never do something that not good for myself don’t make my own self sick and for that I
have to upgrade my knowledge in life.
As nurses, I must constantly upgrade myself. Every year, every month, every week and
every day, there are many studies generated useful for our nurses. Upgrading knowledge and
upgrading methods in providing care to our patients with the latest methods in nursing know
new things previously unknown will assist me in accelerating the recovery of patients during
the treatment process. By the way of seminars, conduct research, training, continuing schools
to a higher level, I help myself to not fall behind the times, not being a nurse that is not
updated, but being a modern nurse, which can adapt to the development of science and the
times. Thus all claims requested by the patient can be fulfilled in an appropriate manner.
The Lord has been suggested to us to renew our knowledge so that we will not be fooled,
do not easily deceived by those who intend evil. I can reduce the risk of bad things that I do
not want with enriching myself with science, in addition, I are also obliged to share
knowledge to the uninitiated. Thus I will get the reward for the knowledge I had to give
them, and if the person I give knowledge doing what I say I will get a reward from our God,
thus by the more knowledge I have I will increase the reward of myself in the eyes of god,
and I can make the world a better place with that.
