The teacher will distribute the flashcards to the pupils. Each pupil will
have 3 flashcards.
Each time the teacher will call a number, the pupil who has that number
will stand and show his/her card.
B. Developmental Activity
1. Discussion
The pupils will be grouped into two and they will be given some flashcards
of numbers in words and they will put it on the pocket chart pasted on the wall.
3. Generalization
“Number plays a vital role in everyone’s life. In order to read numbers, they should
be familiarized, recognized, appreciated and inculcated in every learner’s mind for it can be
of great use in dealing with everyday situations. “(Give real life examples where students
can use reading numbers.)
