LIBRARY CORNER - OCTOBER 2010

THE OCTOBER LIBRARY THEME IS “Fall for Jesus…At the Library.” The Fall-themed
bulletin board and window display feature many new Christ-centered books and DVDs. Come by and take a look!

ICE CREAM SOCIAL AND STOCK THE LIBRARY EVENT – There was a great turnout for ice cream and fellow-
ship on Sunday night, September 19th. The Cornerstone library received over 65 donated books and DVDs that everyone can
enjoy for many years to come. In addition, Lifeway is sending a check for approximately $270 which was 15% of the total sales
that evening. The library also received generous monetary donations from individuals in the congregation. This money will be
used to purchase new materials for the library throughout the year. Thank you for supporting your church library!

DID YOU KNOW … that the Cornerstone library houses books written specifically for women by women such as: Beth
Moore, Barbara Johnson, Kay Arthur, Elizabeth George, Anne Graham Lotz, Patsy Clairmont, Nancy DeMoss, Stasi Eldredge
and many others? There are titles that will make you laugh, help you find God, help you grow closer to God, learn how to pray,
improve your relationship with your spouse and family and find your purpose as a woman in today’s challenging world.
