Time: 8am – 5pm
Venue: Level 4, Sutera Mall, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

RCE Iskandar Sustainable and Low Carbon Schools Exhibition 2018 is organized following the
success of the previous exhibitions since 2015. The exhibition gathers the best schools from Johor
in environmental projects to showcase their green effort on an international platform. Special
sessions, talks and workshops on environmental projects will be conducted during the exhibition
by experts. No entrance fees to participate both the exhibition and talks. All visitors are welcome.

Competition Format for Schools

There are two phases of the competition. In the first phase, all schools in Johor must submit a
short abstract and profile of all the activities and programmes organised or participated by the
schools related to sustainable development and low carbon society. The abstract and profile must
be submitted through email to wongwaiyoke@gmail.com or p-fatin@utm.my before or on 12 July
2018 by 5.00pm.

A group of reviewers will be appointed to screen and review the submitted abstracts and profiles
to select 80 schools which will be invited to the exhibition. The selection criteria is based on:
1. Quantity and quality of activities organised and participated by the schools related to
sustainable development and low carbon society.
2. Availability of organisational structure that supports green efforts at schools

The 80 qualified schools will be announced by 19 July 2018 by email and official letters will be
issued. For the exhibition, the schools will prepare an A0 sized poster and other related exhibition

exhibitors to award the schools. Gold, silver, bronze medals and special awards as well as
