Indian Trail Arrival and Dismissal - Fall 2018 

Dear Parents and Guardians - Below is information to help with student arrival and dismissal:  
 
Morning Arrival:  
● 8:30am is start of supervision on blacktop/Playground 
● Staff supervisors will monitor the drop-off, blacktop area, and bus area for student arrival 
● Students will line up with their homeroom teacher and go into the building together 
● If you arrive after 8:40am - students will use the main entrance and adults will have to sign them in.  
 
Afternoon Dismissal:  
● 3:17pm students will be dismissed and teachers will escort students to possible locations:  
○ Walkers - will meet families on the blacktop  
○ Bus - Staff will walk students to the bus (staff will ride the bus for the first few days)  
○ Pick-Up - Will occur in north lot (near big gym). You can see further notes below 
 
Parent Drop Off/Pick Up 
The first few days we will be working through any issues and appreciate your patience.  
● Location: North Lot (just north of the school main entrance) 
● Important Highlights:  
○ Cars will enter off St. John’s and exit onto Sheridan road 
○ Morning Drop Off (8:30am): Staff will meet scholars at their car, help them exit, and supervise 
their entrance into the building. Do not let your child out of the car until staff are present.  
○ Afternoon Pick Up (3:17pm): Scholars will be in the big gym as a staging area. Cars will line up in 
the north lanes and each car will have a sign with last name. Students will be brought out by 
staff to the cars. 
 
General Reminders:  
● If you plans change please provide notice to the teacher as soon as possible.

Llegada y salida de Indian Trail - Otoño de 2018 
Estimados padres y tutores: a continuación se incluye información para ayudar con la llegada y el despido de los 
estudiantes: 
 
Llegada por la mañana: 
● 8:30 a.m. es el comienzo de la supervisión en asfalto / Patio de recreo 
● Los supervisores del personal monitorearán la zona de bajada, asfalto y área de autobuses para la 
llegada del estudiante 
● Los estudiantes se alinearán con el maestro de su salón principal y entrarán al edificio juntos 
● Si llega después de las 8:40 a.m. - los estudiantes usarán la entrada principal y los adultos deberán 
firmarla. 
 
Despedida por la tarde: 
● A las 3:17 pm los estudiantes saldrán y los maestros escoltarán a los estudiantes a posibles ubicaciones: 
● Walkers: se reunirá con las familias en el asfalto 
● Autobús: el personal llevará a los estudiantes al autobús (el personal viajará en el autobús durante los 
primeros días) 
● Pick-Up: ocurrirá en el lote norte (cerca del gran gimnasio). Puedes ver más notas a continuación 
 
Dejar / recoger a los padres 
Los primeros días estaremos trabajando en cualquier problema y agradecemos su paciencia. 
● Ubicación: North Lot (justo al norte de la entrada principal de la escuela) 
● Puntos importantes: 
○ Los automóviles entrarán en St. John's y saldrán por la carretera de Sheridan 
○ Salida de la mañana (8:30 a.m.): el personal se reunirá con los estudiantes en su automóvil, los 
ayudará a salir y supervisará su entrada al edificio. No deje que su hijo salga del automóvil 
hasta que el personal esté presente. 
○ Pick Up por la tarde (3:17 pm): los becarios estarán en el gran gimnasio como área de 
preparación. Los automóviles se alinearán en los carriles norte y cada automóvil tendrá un 
letrero con el apellido. Los estudiantes serán traídos por el personal a los carros.
