Conclusions: Chemical resistance

Specific chemical resistance against Biogenic Sulfuric Acid, which

makes it suitable for the Waste Water Industry, even in the most
aggressive environments, where other “chemically resistant”
systems may fail.

Class III (28 days with pressure)

No defects for Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5a, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15a
Resistance to EN 13529
Class II (28 days without pressure)
severe chemical Reduction in hardness
No defects for Groups 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5, 5a, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15a
attack of less than 50%
With and without pressure 5 days
No defects for Groups 4a, 6a, 9, 9a, 13 and 15

The resistance against many other media other than just sulfuric
acid, makes it a good solution also for Secondary Containment

Crack bridging capacities
Substrates move, cracks open and close
Waterproofing membranes have to
accommodate this movements without
damages to prevent water, carbon
dioxide or other pollutants from
penetrating the concrete.

Two types of crack bridging capacities:

 Static
 Dynamic

MasterSeal 7000 CR
Crack-bridging

Crack-bridging is necessary to protect concrete effectively

Both dynamic and static crack bridging abilities are important

The fact that the system remains watertight, even in the case
that cracks appear in concrete, reduces the maintenance of the
operating structure

Conclusions: Moisture tolerance and fast curing

In Waste Water collection and treatment: substrates are

always damp.
The high adhesion on damp substrates and the fast curing
properties of MasterSeal 7000 CR reduce downtime
significantly.

The combination with MasterSeal P 770, due its tolerance

to moisture increases adhesion and durability, and the damp
substrate conditions during application or even in case of rising
moisture after application will not affect the performance of the
system.
