Take your favorite rock stars, add a Christmas twist, and you come up with Cool Yule, the hippest
Christmas Variety Show ever! Santa “emcees” this North Pole Spectacular filled with great acts like
New Elves on the Block that are straight off the “Cool 100” Pop Charts. This is a fresh medley that’s fun
for all ages!
Third through Fifth Graders have the opportunity to join Chorus. Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday
mornings before school and the select Friday afternoons each month. Rehearsals will begin at the
beginning of September and go until right before Winter Break in December. Students do not have to
audition to be in Chorus. Students will perform, Cool Yule on Thursday, December 13th at 6:30 p.m. To

REHEARSALS
TUESDAY & THURSDAY Mornings from 7:25-7:50 a.m.
(Beginning Tuesday, September 18th-Tuesday, December 11th)
Students should either eat breakfast at home on Chorus days or enter through the school office at 7:15
a.m. for early breakfast in the Cafeteria. Students should exit the backdoors of the Cafeteria and report
to the Music Room by 7:25. Students not eating breakfast may be dropped off at the back of the school
on Lenox Street and enter the Music Room as early as 7:20 a.m.
FRIDAY Afternoon from 2:50-3:50 p.m.
(On the following Fridays: 10/5, 10/26, 11/30, 12/7 & Wednesday 12/12)
Students will be dismissed from class and should report to the Music Room at 2:50. All students will be
dismissed, to go home, in front of the school. Please form a straight line of cars along the right side of
the driveway and do not exit your car. The students will come to you. Please use caution once your child
is in the car as you pull out to leave. Students who are picked up late will be dismissed from Chorus for
the remainder of the year. Please be respectful of the volunteers and staff by picking your child up on
time.
LEAD ROLES: Audition
If your child is interested in auditioning for a lead role, they must attend an audition Friday, September
21st from 2:50-3:50 p.m. If selected for a lead role, your child must be able to attend rehearsal every
Friday afternoon beginning Friday, September 28th-Friday, December 7th. Pick up for the audition will be
the same as Friday Afternoon rehearsals mentioned above.
ATTENDANCE
Students must attend rehearsals regularly to participate in Chorus.
• Students may not exceed 6 Absences
• If a student is more than 5 minutes late to rehearsal they will be marked Tardy which is counted as
half an absence.
• If a student misses more than 10 minutes of rehearsal they will be marked Absent
• No absences may occur the week of a scheduled performance.
• Any questions about attendance should be directed to Ms. Moser, who reserves the right to make
the final decision.

Please CIRCLE how your student will get home after chorus rehearsals on Fridays at 3:50 p.m.
Walker Students will be dismissed in front of the school to walk home. If you will be walking your child home,
you may meet them there.

Car Rider Students should be picked up in front of the school forming a car line on the right side of the driveway.
Please stay in your vehicle. Your child will come to you. Students who are picked up late will be dismissed
from chorus for the remainder of the year.
