ADDINOL is one of the few companies in the German mineral oil

industry acting independently of any large business group and has
distributor partners on all continents in more than 90 countries. Our
high-performance lubricants are design elements reflecting the most
recent state-of-the-art. Development and production are carried out
according to latest standards at the chemical site in Leuna in the
heart of Germany. Our lubricants reveal their full performance in sym-
biosis with engines, drives, chains, bearings and hydraulic systems.

Generating energy by the utilisation of wind power is of clear benefit
for the environment. And for operators, owning a wind turbine can
be lucrative business, too. However, for getting the equation right,
all aspects need to be taken into consideration. After all, wind
turbines are cost-intensive and high-maintenance capital goods. For
these ­reasons, their reliable and efficient operation is of particular
importance – especially with regard to the extreme operating
conditions prevailing in wind turbines. Highest loads which often vary
in a wide range depending on wind force, vibration, changing ambient
temperatures and humidity characterize these conditions. They pose
