To whom it may concern,

I would like to report an incident which happened last Sunday 04-Sept-2016 at around 12 noon.
I came into the pantry to have a break. After getting some food I proceeded to sit at the table where my
office mate Paul Talavera was seating. While saying grace before eating, he suddenly raised his right leg
and farted very long and loud in front of me. He began laughing a lot and because of the very foul odor, I
moved away to the next table. When I moved away he still laughed and teased me a lot, even if he noticed
that I was very disturbed and angry. I was very angry and cursed back at him. While I was already eating,
we still talked back at each other. After talking back to each other, he got angry and challenged me to
fight in the CR. And I refusing to back down said yes. For 5 minutes, he harassed me to fight downstairs
and even pointed at our TL who was near but wasn’t looking and said that he will also challenge our team
leader. I didn’t finish my food because I lost my appetite at what he did and I agreed to go down to fight
with him but my real intention was to explain to him that he acted rudely when he farted at me. If he
suddenly attacked me, however, I will just defend myself. When I went down I saw him standing in the
hall then we went outside and he pointed at the other side of Ayala. When he got into the middle of the
underpass in Ayala I asked him “Bakit ka umutot habang nagdadasal ako bago kumain?” and he answered
back “eh umupo ka sa tabi”. I was angry because of instead of saying sorry he acted as if he has the right
to do what he did and even laughed in front of me as if what he did was funny. My officemates went
down and I started to walk away from him and said “ayoko na” then he pushed me twice and punched
me first. After that I knew that was already a civil crime and I had to defend myself and fight him back. He
then grabbed my shirt and ripped the lower left sleeves. I grabbed his neck to stop him and I told him
let’s just stop He didn’t stop and kept on punching me in the head and pushed me against the public
advertising lights. Then my officemates grabbed him and stopped the fight. Even if we already went
upstairs, he was still angry and kept on cursing and teasing me. I ended up having a bruise on my right
bicep. I was unable to report to the HR as soon as possible because the incident happened on a Sunday
and my dayoff was on the next day (Monday). During my day off I also ask legal advice from lawyers and
the police. I also used this time to recover from physical pain that was inflicted on me.

I hope that you will investigate the incident and implement sanctions accordingly. I have always
acted properly as an employee of this Company but the rude behavior that Mr. Talavera manifested
threatens the workplace and should not be condoned. This should not also be an example to other
employees.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely Yours,
