1.0 GENERAL REPORT INFORMATION

1.1 Introduction

This monthly report has been prepared with the objective of outlining the
progress of works for the construction and completion of the proposed
Kampung Bungin extension, Spaoh, Betong Division, Sarawak for the
contract period from 5th July 2018 to 25th July 2019.

1.2 Project Description

Jabatan Tanah Dan Servei Sarawak intents to extend the existing Kampung
Bungin at Spaoh, Betong Division, Sarawak. The project site (Kampung
Bungin) can be accessed by road from Betong Town.

The total length of the access road is approximately 1.75km. The carriageway
for the access road shall be 7.0m and 5.5m wide for two ways traffic with 3m
and 1.5m wide earth shoulders on both sides. The carriageway shall be of
stone surfacing. 0.9m wide earth drains to be constructed on both side of the
roads. An approximate length of 97m of HDPE culverts are also to be
constructed. The total length of the water supply pipeline is approximately
1.77 km, consisting of HDPE and DI pipes.

1.3 Scope of Works

The main works to be executed under this contract as described and

implied by the Specification and Drawing includes:
a) Site Clearing, Earthworks and Roadworks.
b) Grubbing of tree stumps if tree is encountered.
c) Supply and Laying Non-Woven Geotextile.
d) Supply, Delivery Spread And Compact To Formation Level
Imported Suitable Materials.
e) Supply and Construct Road Structure.
f) Supply and Erect Road Furniture and Road Marking.
g) Drainage and Drainage Structures Works.

h) Environment Management.
i) Provision and Maintenance of S.O Facilities

05.07.18 to 25.07.18 is herewith reported. The works carried out
during this period consist of the preliminaries and general works, site
clearing and surveyor works.

3.0 CONTRACTUAL ISSUES

No contractual issues affecting the progress of project were encountered so

far.

4.0 CRITICAL ISSUES

No critical issues so far.

5.0 CONCLUSION

The contract period lapsed is 5.32%. The achieved financial progress is 2.38%
against the scheduled financial progress of 2.59% (0.21% delay). As for the
physical progress, the actual work done is 0.11% against the scheduled
physical progress of 0.34% (0.23% delay). The main cause of delay is due to
delay arrival of the excavators to site on 25th July 2018 when it is scheduled to
arrive on 16th July 2018.
