MGC-SIMPLE

BUMP TEST PROCEDURE


The steps for a Bump Test for the 4-gas detector MGC-SIMPLE are the
following:

1. Fit the regulator (0,5 L/m) on the span gas cylinder

2. Snap the MGC-S Calibration Cap (provided with the detector) into place
over the sensor ports.
(If the detector is not already activated (blank screen), activate it by pressing the
power button continuously, until detector switched on)
3. Connect them with the hose with inner diameter 4 or 6 mm.

4. Double press the power button

5. Once the display shows SHOW STATUS press power button once again
6. When display shows L.BUMP Press power button once again

7. When display start alternate between BUMPxxxd and APPLY GAS,


turn on the regulator.

8. Once all of the sensors have been tested, the detector will go into
alarm. Turn off the regulator and remove the MGC-S Calibration Cap.
The detector will return to normal operation after a short period of
time.

9. The bump test is completed

10. To check that the Bump Test is recorded follow the steps 4 and 5
You must see the indication L.BUMP and the present date.

IMPORTANT:
The whole procedure from the step 7 to step 8 takes less than
10-15 seconds
