technical assistance, exists to meet the needs of this portion
of your students/community members

agencies the benefits of an E4E class

● Increase awareness of community resources, and how they


can be tapped to strengthen the E4E class

● Interest programs/community agencies in joining ENB to


initiate E4E classes

An initiative of English for New Bostonians, this
program provides access to high quality English
language classes for entrepreneurs.

Time: Classes are typically…


➢ Held after work hours
➢ 2 hours, twice a week
➢ 16-20+ weeks

Location: A place convenient for you and your students

What are E4E goals?
To support programs by providing:
• specialized curriculum for ESOL adults
• technical assistance
To help programs help students:
• launch their business
• learn vocabulary that relates to their business
• learn and practice skills that can be used in a business:
– customer service
– finance
– organization
But most importantly… to improve
their English!

Tech Goes Home
As an added benefit, we
incorporated Tech Goes Home
(TGH) with the ESOL for
Entrepreneurship class.

TGH has a small business


component for their program.
Our Instructor attended an
online training workshop to be
able to incorporate the class
with the TGH program. She
created a very ambitious
Schedule / Agenda.

Students very enthusiastic about this Tech
component. So many benefits and leave with a
viable chromebook to use for their business.
