2017-2018 Provided excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, helping find
COLUMBUS METROPOLITAN the right resources, as well as assisting in any way I could with locating materials, and using

I helped enforce the code of conduct by being aware of people and situations around me. I
Customer Service Associate made sure to demonstrate respect and integrity when resolving conflicts or handling disputes.
I made it a goal to better share information about the library’s resources and programs;
especially early literacy and Ready for Kindergarten. 
Worked  efficiently  to meet the daily work goals in a respected time frame. I listened to
instructions carefully so that the integrity and quality of my work would not be compromised.
I worked well both as part of a team and independently to successfully complete goals and

LICKING COUNTY LIBRARY Performed reference and reader’s advisory for library customers where I practiced using
reference interview techniques and became familiar with the library databases.
Adult Services/Reference Proactively greeted customers into the library where I would help them sign up for cards,
Librarian (MLIS practicum) manage their accounts, place holds, and reserve meeting rooms.
Provided technical instructional services in the computer lab where I monitored the use of
computers by patrons. I would often help with printing issues, formatting resumes and
flyers, using Microsoft applications, and completing online job applications. I also handled
the cash management system in SirsiDynix for when patrons needed to print, copy, or fax.  
I trained volunteers to perform basic job duties such as shelving and pulling the holds list.
