Dear Mr. Beekman:

This is a follow-up to the institution's March 23, 2018, letter, which was in response
to a January 23, 2018, letter from Oliver Luck, former NCAA executive vice president
of regulatory affairs and strategic partnerships. The correspondence requested the
institution's response to the sexual assaults committed by Larry Nassar, a former
physician at Michigan State University, and its position on whether any violations of
NCAA legislation occurred. In its March 23 letter, the institution shared its position
that violations of NCAA legislation did not occur.

In addition to this, and in response to information reported publicly in January 2018,

the institution worked with the NCAA enforcement staff to investigate whether
violations of NCAA legislation occurred related to the institution's handling of student
conduct allegations involving football and men's basketball student-athletes. This
review has not substantiated violations of NCAA legislation.

Based on available information, it does not appear there is need for further inquiry.
Should additional information become available, the enforcement staff will review this
information with the institution to determine whether further inquiry is necessary.

The enforcement staff appreciates the institution's cooperation and its responsiveness
to both inquiries. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at
jduncan@ncaa.org or 317/917-6010.

Sincerely,

Jonathan F. Duncan
Vice President of Enforcement
