NURAENI, ‘’ Sistem Pengelolaan Sampah Medis Di Rumah Sakit Umum

Massenrempulu Kabupaten Enrekang Sulawesi Selatan Tahun 2016’’ ( pembimbing
oleh Darmi Indrawati dan Muh.Basyir).
Hospital waste treatment is part of the activities of environmental sanitation
in the hospital the aims to protect the public from the dangers of enviromental
pollution from garbage. Research aims to gain an overview of the medical waste
treatment in the general hospital Massenrempulu Enrekang using descriptive survey
method, kind of research was observational descriptive manual approach, the
sample in this study were all medical waste is in the general hospital
Massenrempulu Enrekang namely in the inpatient room, emergency, room,
laboratory and operating room.
Based on the results of the study showed that of the four rooms on the
observation that there are three rooms lug medical waste qualifies namely inpatient
room, emergency room, an laboratory, there are three rooms that collection of
medical waste qualifies namely inpatient room, laboratory and operating room,
there are three rooms were trabsporting medical waste are eligible inpatient room,
emergency room, and laboratory, and all the rooms were its extermination ineligible
namely inpatient room, emergency room, laboratory and operating room.
Based on the conclusions are suggested to the medical waste management
officer always pay attention to environmental hygiene Hospital and further inprove
medical waste management process based lug, collection, transportation and
disposal.
