ABSTRACT

Big data analytics is the process of examining large and varied data sets i.e., big data to uncover
hidden patterns, unknown correlations, market trends, customer preferences and other useful
information that can help organizations make more-informed business decisions. Big data
analytics applications enable data scientists, predictive modelers, statisticians and other analytics
professionals to analyze growing volumes of structured transaction data, plus other forms of data
that are often left untapped by conventional business intelligence (BI) and analytics programs.

This project deals with statistical analysis of air pollution in state of Andhra Pradesh for the year
2010-15 using hadoop ,hive,R programming, data mining,KDM model.This document will
discuss each of the underlying technologies

This is a project with the objective to answer pollution analysis, which city need more pollution
abatement strategies, measuring the level of pollution.various questions like minimum and
maximum pollution year wise (2010-15),most and least polluted city (year wise and overall) ,
most and least polluted region (year wise) ,season wise This document will discuss each of the
technologies used to create and implement an air pollution analysis report.
 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The industrial training opportunity I had with CDAC was a great chance for learning and
professional development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky individual as I was
provided with an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to meet so
many wonderful people and professionals who led me though this internship period.

Bearing in mind previous I am using this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and
special thanks to the teachers of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) : Sunjay
Madan ,Sarabjeet Kaur and Sunny sir who in spite of being extraordinarily busy with her/his
duties, took time out to hear, guide and keep me on the correct path and allowing me to carry out
my project at their esteemed organization and extending during the training.

I express my deepest thanks to them for taking part in useful decision & giving necessary
