Dear Student,
We are pleased to announce the details of the Progressive Evaluation Test and Part Tests I to
VI scheduled for your Course.
Please keep this circular till all the Tests are completed and note the details carefully.
1. DATES AND TIMINGS

For Students outside India:
As you are aware, the Test comprises two papers, Paper I and Paper II, each of three hours’
duration.
Because of the various time zones our students outside India are in, the papers will be accessible to
you online from 5.00 pm IST on the date of the Test (Sunday) to 9.30 pm IST the next evening
(Monday).
All students residing outside India can log on and appear for the Test at any time of
their convenience during the 28-hour window. Please note that your papers must be
submitted before 9.30 P.M. IST on Monday. You will not be able to submit after this
time. So to finish your papers well on time, you should start your second paper by
6.30 P.M. IST on Monday at the latest.
Each student will be able to log on only once and take each test only once.

2. CENTRES
See attached list for details.
Please note the dates and timings for your Centre carefully. You must be seated 15 minutes before the
start of each Test. No one will be allowed in after the Test has started.
3. RESPONSE LETTERS
Students opting to appear for the “Sit-down Tests” at the Centres, please ensure that you
complete and send the Response Letter meant for each Test to reach us on or before the
dates mentioned below to help us to make suitable arrangements for the Tests at the
Centres.

Alternatively please logon to http://www.brilliant-tutorials.com/iit/onlineconfirmreq.jsp and
confirm your appearance at each Test. You will not able to sign in after the dates given above.
The Management reserves the right to refuse admission for Tests to students who have not
conveyed the information through the response letters. All students are therefore advised,
in their own interest, to respond, either online or by Post, immediately on receipt of
this circular to enable us to make suitable arrangements for their participation in the
Tests.
Please respond even if you are NOT planning to attend any Tests. After you have
responded, you will not receive any further communication from us about the Tests.
FOR ONLINE STUDENTS, the necessary instructions regarding login id, password and access to
the Test will be e- mailed to you.
4. ADMISSION TO THE TEST
You will be admitted to the Test only on production of your Original Admit Card with your
photograph affixed, issued by our office at the time of your enrolment. Students not holding the
ADMIT CARD, will not therefore be permitted to enter the Hall or take the Test.
Please note that this step is being taken in order to safeguard the interests and convenience of our
genuine students and to prevent non-students from taking the Test. Your full cooperation is hence
imperative to ensure the successful conduct of the Test.
5. DIRECTIONS FOR ANSWERING THE TESTS
(i) Details of the pattern of the Examination are attached.
(ii) Please bring your own instrument box, pen, good quality HB pencil, soft eraser, etc. Answer
sheets will be provided with the question paper.
(iii) The use of Calculators and Logarithmic tables IS NOT allowed for the Tests.
(iv) No extra sheet will be provided for the Tests. All rough work should be done in the
blank spaces provided in the question paper only.
(v) Cell Phones, pagers, iPods or other electronic devices will not be permitted
inside the Examination Hall.

6. RESULTS
Answer papers of all tests will be valued and marks and percentile scores along with the solutions
will be sent by e-mail. Students, who have not provided their e-mail addresses in the Enrollment
Form/changed them after enrollment, can send their email addresses, through e-mail to
enquiries@brilliant-tutorials.com quoting their Enrollment Number. The results will also be
posted on our website: www.brilliant-tutorials.com.
7. SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS
Please observe the following for smooth conduct of the Test:
1. Parents and guardians should come only to drop off their wards at the entrance of the Centre
in the morning and to pick them up again at the end of the day. Please do not spend the
entire day at the Centre.
2. Please do not pressurize the Centre Authorities for change in the timings and avoid asking
for the question papers in the absence of your ward.
3. Students should strictly desist from writing on the walls, scribbling or otherwise causing any
damage whatsoever to the desks, furniture, bathroom fixtures, lifts, etc.
4. Every student should bring sufficient drinking water to meet the day’s requirement for
himself/herself. Water can be conveniently brought in water bottles or sachets.
5. Please make every effort to leave the premises in the same clean condition as found at the
start of the Test and ensure that litter is thrown only in the containers provided for the
purpose.

In all matters connected with the conduct of the Test at the Examination Centres, the
decision of the Examination Superintendent will be final.
You will not receive any further communication about the Tests unless there is a
change for your Centre.

namely Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Both the Papers will be of
the Objective Type, designed to test Comprehension and Analytical Ability of
candidates.
