2. The topic of the film

The film shows us a personal story of a professor of the History of Mediterranean
Civilizations, mainly Greece and Rome. The professor works in a prominent
school in the United States.
At the beginning of the classes, already beginning the school year, a student with
the last name Bell enters his class that impacted this teacher.
The behavior of the student, from the beginning, was of a child who likes to call
attention and who alters the order of the group, the behavior of the student was
understandable because his father was a Senator and never kindly treated his
son.
The student had different ideas and principles to the teacher, in many occasions
there were interruptions to the class, with absurd games, and the time comes

change. the scolding had an effect and made him participate in the contest, they
reached the final stages with a lot of study, dedication and the help of the teacher.
The student made fraud, a teacher realized and strategically makes the last
question can’t be answered by Bell.
After 20 years, there was a meeting of the generation. This reunion was not
coincidental because Bell wanted to clean up his image before his old colleagues
and teachers through the same contest in which they participated when they were
young.
Bell again made fraud, as in school, and he was discovered by the teacher, who
applied the same strategy so that Bell did not win the contest

3. The development of the topic

The film takes place in a school where Professor William Hundert, in charge of
western civilization and concerned about his students, meets Sedgewick Bell
who is carefree and difficult.
Trying to help his student, he knows the father, Senator BELL, who is a person
who only cares about himself and the money and source of his son's problems.
Professor Hundert begins by approaching and supporting the student who
responds improving in every way and the teacher leaves aside his values and
helps him to enter a competition improving his qualification and leaving out
another student that he deserves. In the contest the teacher discovers that Bell
cheats and accuses him before the director that allows the contest to continue,
so the teacher decides to focus a question so that the student does not know and
loses the contest. Bell is again the same carefree and arrogant student.

Years later the whole generation is reunited and remembering the past years
they decided to do the contest again, the teacher thinking that the past had been
solved, but not Bell, now being a father and a politician, he cheats again and
loses again, the teacher he confronts him in front of his son, who retires without
seeing him in the face.

and with one's own conscience.
b. Teacher William learned from his mistakes and learned lessons for his life
and for that of his students.
c. The teachers' work is complex, but they are also very capable human beings,
who are the basis for an integrated information, they must know how to teach
and train their students to face their daily lives.

5. The aspects you disagree with

a. The few values that some have.
b. The fact of having lost the opportunity to someone who deserved it by another
who did not value the opportunity.
c. That as time passes, continue with the same idea of doing what is necessary
to achieve the end.

6. Conclusion
In the form of a conclusion, I found 3 which seem important to me:
a. Teachers have a great importance with many values, is characterized by
having a relationship full of energy that makes the student fill the learning and
is the person responsible for shaping the character of each student that allows
you to be a person of true principles and that allows him to forge in the society
we live.
b. A quiz not only assesses the knowledge acquired, but also considers knowing
how to tell the truth and prepare for tests, not all students have the same
skills.
c. As we have observed the motivation, attitude and treatment of the teacher is
essential for the construction of a healthy educational relationship between
the teacher and the student.
