What measures must be taken to tackle global warming and it’s alarming

effects on world climate and even weather patterns?

- One of the grave environmental problem caused by human activities

which are not nature friendly is Global Warming which needs to be tackle
with the effective measures.The global warming is the gradual increase
in overall temperature of earth’s atmosphere .Replacing non-renewable
source of energy by renewable and spreading awareness among people
about cause of the global warming will be effective measures to tackle
the global warming. (68)

However,human activities alone is not responsible for the global warming

due to which the global warming has also became a controversial matter.
A study by Swiss and German scientists suggests that increasing radiati-
on from the sun is responsible for recent global climate changes.The
Earth is getting hotter because the Sun is burning more brightly than at
any time during the past 1,000 years.Similarly,according to research by
NASA ,the volume of ice is increasing in East Antarctica and the interior
of West Antarctica.The president of USA ,Donald trump,thinks that global
warming is an expensive hoax and had withdraw the USA from Paris
treaty agreement which will work on global warming form 2020.(118)

The main measure to tackle the global warming is to replace the non -
renewable energy source such as Fossil Fuel,Coal or Oil with renewable
energy source such as Hydropower, Solar energy or wind energy .The
main cause of global warming is due to various greenhouse gases such
as carbon dioxide , methane or nitrous oxide .The main source of the
greenhouse gases is burning of non-renewable source.The greenhouse
gases do not let the heat from sun reflect back from earth’s surface
causing the global warming .China is building world biggest solar plant
in order to tackle the global warming .Many other countries are also
promoting the use of renewable source of energy.Likewise,the governm-
ent should charge more tax on the fossil fuel and subsidized the
renewable source of energy. Since , the renewable energy sources
energy is expensive than the non-renewable.(143)

Another the most important measure would be to make people aware

about the global warming.The causes and effects of the global warming,
people must know,are because of themselves.Firstly,People need to be
aware of man - made causes that lead to the global warming these
include problems such as Deforestation , use of fossil fuel or mining .
Secondly,people ought to be instructed about useful role of Newspaper,
TV,the radio and social media.For example,most informed people would
know that global tree loss reached over 73 million acres in 2016 which
meant that much less carbon dioxide could be absorbed.(103)

The global warming has affected on world climate and even weather
patternsWeather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short
period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere behaves over
relatively long periods of time. According to the research by NASA,since
1880 AD the global temperature of earth rose by 0.8 degree celsius .
However,New York has just suffered one of the coldest winters on
record.
Similarly,to some extent weather pattern is also found to be affected.The
global warming creates an atmosphere that can collect, retain, and drop
more water, changing weather patterns in such a way that wet areas
become wetter and dry areas drier.To cite an example ,the hottest desert
Sahara had got snowfall on 9th, January,2018.(127)

In conclusion, Global warming is caused by human beings ,so it also can

be solved by us,if effective measures are taken.Global warming does
affect on climate change and weather patterns. It’s effect are minimal
now but has high chance to effect severely to us in near future.(49)
