inaugurated a new multi-storey information technology (IT) complex in
Hyderabad called Cyber Pearl, which provides 270,000 sq ft of space
to cater to technology-related businesses in India.

According to an Ascendas spokeswoman, 80 per cent of the building


has been taken up following brisk demand from multinational
companies such as HSBC and US-based Market Tools, as well as local
IT corporations such as Nipuna and Keane India.
YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, of which
Hyderabad is the capital, and Lim Boon Heng, Singapore's Minister in
the Prime Minister's Office and Secretary-General of the National
Trades Union Congress, were present during the inauguration. Mr Lim
said: 'I am impressed to see that Cyber Pearl provides the kind of
quality work-play environment conducive not only to the development
of business but also the working community.'.Located in HITEC City in
Hyderabad, Cyber Pearl is the first project by the joint venture L&T
