“Building your future” programme

The “Building you future” programme is intended for civil engineering

students. They will be able to learn more about different matters thanks to
the significant number of international speakers that will be presented.
Moreover the students will be able to test their skills with students of our
university in different contest.

Report of the “Building your future” programme

Introduction

The purpose of this report is to find out if accepting a group of 50 students from another country in
our university for the “Building your future” programme would be a good idea.

Advantages of the programme

The most convincing arguments in favor of accepting the group of foreign students are the
following:

1. The students will be able to learn about our culture and traditions.
2. Healthy competitions among students will be encouraged.
3. There will be an exchange of knowledge among the students.
4. Our university will be recognized overseas.

Disadvantages of the programme

Despite of certain advantages, the students of our university show some uneasiness and discomfort
due the fact of the number of foreign students will decrease the number of students of our
university to access the contest and lectures. Furthermore, some students ensure that different
subjects dictated abroad and it would not be a fair competition.

Recommendations

It would be highly advisable to make presentations in larger auditoriums and expand the number
of contestants so that more students can attend to this important event.

Conclusion

To conclude, it is important to hear the necessities of the students of our university in this way we
can provide a better experience to foreign students and leave the name of our university on high.
