CORRUPTION IN THE VOTATIONS

In the video we can see a compilation of interviews with some citizens in a park on Bogotá.
The people in Colombia have many thoughts about the corruption in the political elections of any
kind. Some of them think that the corruption its part of the country´s culture and that its ok to do it
because all the people know about it and nobody is gonna do something to fix it, when there are
entities like the mentioned “MOE” that works hard for the transparency in the votations.
Some others act like the corruption is a business and that many people can get some benefit from
it. This is where the problem begins because they feel like they are doing some good things or even
worse, they are actually conscious that they are doing a wrong thing and keep doing it with some
pretexts.
Another people on the footage did the correct thing about the bribery for their votes, saying that
they don´t need any money to hear a candidate. I hope that the rest of us could act like that people.
We can say that the problem about the corruption its the fear and the large misinformation about
it, knowing that it is a crime, would encourage the people to do their respective accusation to the
police. Some citizens don´t know about the consequences of the corruption in Colombia, the
corruption have already make our lifes harder, the corruption melts our resources because every
candidate that wins the elections with electoral fraud will try to get back the money spent with
many kind of deals and “building permits that will help our country” that only finish with the
money on their wallets with the rest of the called “mermelada” for their promoters to finally giving
us a lot of tragedies and economic problems.
In conclusion, great part of the citizens in Colombia thinks that the corruption its part of the culture
of the country and that there´s nothing we can do about that, spreading the idea that all the
candidates are corrupts and that if we not approach the bribery in the votations, we will not getting
anything back in their mandates.
2. DEATH: A DIVINE OR HUMAN DECISION?

In these text I will try to explain the diverse about the mercy killing or euthanasia, as we can hear
in the program, some people think that its correct to take the life of someone that is not able to
move.
The case in the program talks about Lina María, a girl that has been in a vegetal state for seven
years, her mother is asking for help since Lina had 12 years old.
This text pretends to make an analysis about the euthanasia as an instrument of discussion between
Christian posture and the humanist one, about the conception of freedom and property of the human
being.
The discussion about who have the authority to decide which life is worth to live and which it’s
better to finish; Euthanasia has been carried out as medically assisted suicide, because a doctor
must necessarily intervene in its execution; being different from the assisted suicide in which any
person, for altruistic and pious reasons, helps a person, sick or not, to fulfill his desire to die.
However, this is the figure of suicide that, due to its religious parameters, has not accepted the
implementation of euthanasia worldwide.

Therefore, it is necessary, in the first instance, the prevalence of the will of man for there to be sin
and with it the guilt. Well, man must direct his life to choose the good, because it is part of his
responsibility to reach the higher order and the salvation. Thus, when the will of the person who
wishes to die is denied, the responsibility of the human being to seek God and to transcend is denied
at the same time. He also denies his sins and instead of constituting death as the place for
enlightenment through repentance and sincere confession, what is done is to depart from it.
