1. Find the mean, median and mode for the following frequency distribution. [10 M]

2. Calculate the mean, variance and standard deviation for the following frequency
distribution, and hence obtain the value of co-efficient of variation. [10 M]

3. Find the value of a, P (X < 3), cumulative distribution function, mean, variance and
standard deviation of the discrete random variable (X) with the following probability

4. If the joint density for the random variables (X, Y ), where X is the unit temperature
change and Y is the proportion of spectrum shift that a certain atomic particle produces,
